Location. Easy access to restaurants & supermarkets. Spacious. The appt had everything we needed. The balcony was lovely. The host gave excellent directions & answered our questions promptly.

Would definitely recommend just based on location, amenities and condition of apartment a bonus!

Great location within walking distance to beaches and Riva promenade. Literally restaurant out front door but at night still very quiet. Spacious, clean and loved the stonework. Host Laura very accommodating.

Power went out a couple times but host explained whole building was supposed to be undergoing an upgrade. She was apologetic even though we understand there was probably nothing she could do about it.

Lovely Devivi

The entrance door to to the Devivi Apartments is unusual in that it is set in a wall which normally has tables and chairs from a local restaurant - which by the way is pretty good - on either side of it. So, when you're coming back out you can often have fun by surprising diners as you pop out through the door ! I suspect the building is quite old as it has lots of character to it. Our apartment was very nice, again with lots of character, and it has been restored in a very sympathetic way, with lovely exposed stoneworkin parts. The new glazing was very effective as you heard no noise from the street & restaurants below, when the windows were closed, and the aircon was also very quiet and effective. There is a nice view down to the street below and also an interesting view from the balcony at the back, which is lovely & cool to sit out on, both at lunch time and in the evenings. The apartment was very clean and well equipped and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The bed had a strange cover on the mattress which wasn't the most comfortable. But having said that, we did manage to sleep pretty well. The location of the apartment is perfect as it sits on the edge of Diocletian's Palace area and is also located where there are lots of reasonably-priced restaurants and bars. Split is a wonderful City to visit and there is lots to see and do. Simply walking through the narrow streets of the old Palace quarter is wonderful in itself and there is a lovely promenade with Cafe bars where you can sit and watch the ships and people go by. We would certainly recommend a visit and stay at Devivi Apartments.

We had so much fun here, cool town

PERFECT location in Split. We loved this apartment, clean and so easy to get everywhere. Safe, friendly area. Our host was helpful and also offers a discount taxi to and from airport which was an easy way for us to get settled it. We had the best time here and would recommend to others.

Comfotable and enjoyable stay!

Conveniently located. The room is cozy and well equipped. No worries about the noise from the streets. Laura, the owner of this apartment, is friendly and very helpful. Her father is a reliable taxi driver. He gave us a lot of useful information about the city.

A wonderful place and an amazing host. The place was very clean and well-maintained, equipped with everything you need and even more. Additionally, it's hard to imagine a better location. I definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Split!

Good place, bad host

Perfect location and nice room

The apartment is hard to find, also the entrance to the building often gets blocked by people eating at the restaurant downstairs. The bell tower nearby is very loud, it would wake us every morning at 7. Also, the airconditioning doesn't cool down the room at all. The only message we had from Laura before checking in was how to book her father's taxi. We received no check-in instructions so we had no clue where to be. As we were there at our agreed arrival time, we were forced to call Laura for help to get in. She wasn't at the apartment to greet us so we had to wait for her. There were loud guests next door and below us: partying, screaming, slamming doors, loud music and singing past midnight. After the third night of complaining to Laura it was still not dealt with. There was never any presence of the host at the building, so the guests were in full control of the chaos. Laura mentioned that she was aware the guests were here to party for a festival, and promised to shut down any possible disruptions, but didn't stick to the promise. By the 4th day my husband and I were exhausted, which almost ruined our honeymoon. The host refused to provide any compensation for the discomfort that she was responsible for taking care of, even though she had acknowledged there was a problem. Luckily Booking.com was more reasonable and provided us with compensation instead.

The host was spot on and very helpful. Arranging taxis, met at the apartment, recommendations. The accommodation was located superbly - an easy stroll to the old town. Everything you needed was within very easy walking distance. Would recommend and gladly stay again.

Perfect base to explore Split

The location was so central, everything is within walking distance. you are in the centre of hustle bustle yet tucked away. Many restaurants around.

A mystery, it appears some one entered my room may be a cleaner or someone as I found the windows were opened not the way I left them open and there were some dirt marks on the sink. The host was sometimes slow in getting back to me but may be it was because it was a Sunday

Lovely room in excellent location

The location is ideal. Just off a shady little square, five minutes from the Riva and old city, about 25 minutes walk from beaches. The room is very quiet in spite of the restaurant below, it's comfortable and spotlessly clean. Laura is very helpful and responds quickly via WhatsApp. We were able to check out late which was so helpful. I'd definitely stay at Devivi again and highly recommend it.

The description on booking.com suggested a shared terrace. However, the twin room doesn't have access to this. Laura quickly apologised and amended the description. Personally I like access to outside space so next time I would book the studio flat instead. Communication with Laura was easy and she quickly and easily resolved this.

The very heart of the city. Everything you need not far than 10 minutes walk. Sea - 1 minute Top Restaurants - 1 minute Transport & boats - 3 minutes

Stunning accommodation

It is such a quaint, beautiful apartment, that has everything you need and right in the heart of the old town. Spotlessly clean, great aircon and plenty of hot water. Would definitely book again. Host a lovely young lady who is very helpful.

Comfortable, central and beautiful

Central yet quiet. We were located right in the hub of activity, walking distance from anywhere yet there was no street noise. The host arrange for her father to pick us up at the airport which was a major plus - highly recommended instead of taking another taxi. After some delays our flight only arrived at 11pm and it was a great comfort that someone was waiting with our name on a board taking us straight to our accomodation - no struggling to find a place in the dark after a long and tiresome flight.

When you find it, you'll never want to leave

We arrived in Split and it was a twenty minute walk (with luggage) to get the accommodation from the bus station. Once we found the property we set out on our Split adventure. The location is amazing with lots of cafes, restaurants and even grocery stores nearby to guarantee we would never go hungry or thirsty. Thanks to a helpful and informative host we were able to sneak a load of laundry in while the other unit (which had the washing machine) was being service and get a run down of nearby must-see sights. Despite being above a pizzeria Feral, we were never bothered by either sounds or smells - in fact, we had dinner there our first night and really enjoyed it. The property was also a five minute walk to the Old City and the Riva making it very easy to get to the all of the wonderful sights there are in Split.

I loved the fact the host sent pictures of what the exterior door looked like (it was green), but due to our own fault, we kept trying to get into another neighboring green door. I simple call to the host clarified our problem and we got into the property after all with no other issues. I also thought the motion detection lights were helpful in an otherwise dark stairwell.

Great place to stay in Split.

Arranged to be picked up from the airport by our host and it was so convenient and worth it. Dropped us at the door and showed us around. Two minute walk to Riva promenade where you find boats tours, lots of eating and drinking places, ferries to neighbouring islands ,bus and train stations. All sites very close and Split is so easy to walk around. Kitchen was well presented .Beds comfortable and cosy and room large. Thoughtful of host to have blinds and curtains to filter the morning sun.Had lots of thoughtful extras which made our stay so enjoyable. Located right in the heart of the Konoba restaurants.Washing machine was used a few times.Messaged host a few times with questions and received replies quickly.

Beautiful apartments in excellent location

We stayed for a week in the studio apartment. Excellent location, spotless and really comfortable bed. Bonus having a washing machine and a balcony. Laura and her dad were really helpful and very easy to contact. Would highly recommend staying at these apartments.

Could have been so much better

I want to start off positive by saying Laura and her lovely dad were fabulous hosts and tried their best to help us in every way possible. The apartment was in a fabulous spot could not have been better. Beds were comfortable and the modern windows blocked out the noise.

Unfortunately the air-conditioning was broken and sadly that completely ruined my stay as I cannot stand trying to sleep in the heat and it was very hot. Laura bought us a large fan which made it bearable but not comfortable. The building itself is in need of maintenance with the stair balustrade loose and the lights not staying on long enough for us slower seniors. Only one towel for 4 days in extreme heat was definitely insufficient and they need updating. There was no iron or board, a must for travellers.

Nice place near everything

The location was perfect for us.The owner was helpful and everything worked without any problems. I liked to sit and watch birds flying from the balcony. We had everything, what we needed. If I come to Split once more I will book this appartment.

Very conveniently located apartment close to the old town, with a little balcony to sit out on - great for breakfast. Although it is in the centre, it's at the back of the building and quiet. Laura was there to meet me at the agreed time. Small kitchenette is fine for making breakfast, lunch and drinks.
