The location was perfect, right next to Valley Gardens and a 10 min walk from the Convention Centre. Breakfast was super good, freshly cooked and tasty! The room was spotless and such a comfy bed too. What wonderful hosts.

Cultural visit to Harrogate

Location is close to the centre but an uphill climb on the return. Breakfast was very good

Great location. Host was very attentive and provided Decaf coffee for our room on request. Wonderful breakfast. Good sized bedroom and en-suite. Very comfy bed Nice view out towards Valley Gardens. Biscuits, and fresh fruit and flowers in room on arrival.

No plug sockets by the bedside cabinets. TV was possibly rather small for the size of the room.

Lovely stay in a great little find

Had a lovely stay at The Dales. It was spotlessly clean and bed was very comfortable, breakfast was delicious and we especially loved the fresh fruit salad. Parking was easy and plentiful just in front of the B&B. Will definitely go back

Lovely bed and breakfast in a great location

Chris and Roy were lovely hosts and made us feel very welcome. We had a room with a spacious separate bathroom. Both room and bathroom were linked by a private hallway and we had total privacy. The room was lovely. Chris had left pieces fruit and a small vase of flowers to welcome us. Our special dietary requirements were accommodated: the fruit melange for breakfast was gorgeously delicious with fresh raspberries, mango, pineapple, grapes etc. Decaffeinated tea was provided in a lovely teapot. The full English breakfast provided each morning was lovely. There’s a utility room for guests use including microwave, refrigerator, small table and a full sized ironing board. As it was quiet during our stay, we were able to eat food we had prepared for our evening meal. Chris provided plates and cutlery. The location is ideal being only a short walk from the town centre, and directly opposite the valley gardens where we went for evening walks. Umbrellas are provided in the entrance lobby in case of rain.

The outside steps to the front entrance are on the steep side. While this didn’t affect us, it could be an issue for people who have mobility issues.

Wonderful stay at the Dales

Great room in fabulous old house just 10 minutes walk from the town centre. The room was bright and spacious with some lovely added touches i.e flowers and fruit. Comfortable bed in a spotlessly clean room. The breakfast choices were very generous and we opted for the full English breakfast which didn’t disappoint. The host was very friendly she made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived.

Good location in a nice road close to town centre with great breakfasts and charming hosts

Large rooms with period decoration, nice attention to detail, very good breakfast and excellent hosts…loved our stay.

Not really anything other than steepish steps up to front door may present a problem for more infirm visitors and street parking may not be right outside the Dales but slightly further down the road if on a bank holiday and nice weather with people visiting Valley Park opposite…don’t think this is a deal breaker …

Lovely chilled weekend in excellent accommodation

Room was exceptionally clean and a good size. En suite was large and shower was double the normal size with good pressure. Location was also very good opposite the park and an easy walk to all the shops and bars in the town centre. Chris the owner was very friendly. Would recommend.

Happy to be in Harrogate

The Dale's is spotlessly clean, with very good internal decor. We received a very warm welcome. We felt very relaxed the whole time we were there. The breakfast was cooked to order and very well presented.

Lovely fruit salad, clean and comfy

My husband enjoyed the free sweets by the door, it's very convenient to the centre , opposite a lovely park. The fresh fruit breakfast was the best I ever had

The toiletries were ok, 8 usually pack my own but the body wash was the combination type hair and body , not a fan personally, also the round little soap, again not for me, nothing wrong with them really but not for me. Only thing out of their control was the very hot weather, we had a fan in the room but it was so hot that weekend

We could not fault staying at the dales. What a fantastic place to stay. It's the first time we have had fresh flowers and fruit in our room. Best breakfast we have ever had, compliments to the chef
