Highly recommend Arden guest house

Lovely warm clean comfortable room. Very quiet area with zero disturbance. Close to the town centre, 10 minute walk. Gorgeous breakfast too and lovely hosts.

Room was clean and comfortable and the welcome warm from both hosts. Excellent breakfast and fresh milk available without any problem.

Only minor thing was the party wall and sounds from adjoining rooms.

The breakfast was fantastic. Fabulous choice and variety. Just perfect for us. However the really outstanding feature, Jan and Mark, are amazing hosts and really lovely people. They gave us fantastic recommendations for food and had loads of time to chat if people wanted to. Exactly what we wished for.

Great long weekend in Harrogate

Lovely clean and comfortable property in a great, quiet location. The hosts were so kind and helpful and the breakfasts were delicious. Would definitely recommend this property.

Absolutely amazing, all needs catered for, no complaints

The location is great, close by to basically anything you need in Harrogate and has its own little car park so there’s not too much parking stress - when it’s at capacity the guys at Arden House were able to offer me a parking disc which was fab. The breakfast was amazing - the continental spread was brilliant, with cereal, fresh fruits and yoghurt - hot breakfast was just as good, I especially enjoyed the eggs benedict. They went above and beyond for me as well to place me in a room that i’d get the most quiet as I was on night shifts.

Nothing to note, like I said above their car park can get a little busy but the parking disc was a big help so you can park in any of the disk zones !

I had a lovely time and would stay there again.

There was a very good choice of buffet breakfast, fruit yoghurt cereals and home made jams for toast. Also very good choice of cooked breakfast including eggs benedict and full english. The hosts were very happy to accommodate choices. The room was intended for 1 and was ideal for 1 as a base to visit family and explore around Harrogate. It had an on suite shower, which was easy to use unlike some others I've come across in my travels. Another convenient feature of the room was the number of hangers in the wardrobe, more than enough. It was only a short walk to the town centre including the train and bus stations , about 5 mins casual walking speed.

The only slight issue was the position of the plugs in my room which were a little awkward to access.

Warm friendly comfortable and well located guest house with lovely owners.

WE arrived a little bit later than planned but the owner was so lovely and took our coats to dry. The room was really clean warm and comfortable. for breakfast there was a lovely selection of continental or cooked breakfasts on offer. everything was tasty and fresh. They have a lovely sitting room for relaxation or work for guests. The location is superb just a few minutes walk from the station and the town centre. A lovely place.

Great location, with friendly hosts and excellent breakfast

Excellent location close to the city centre. The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly, predicting guest needs and offering advice on places to visit and eat. The breakfast truly was the best I have experienced at a B&B, freshly cooked with lots of choice. Room was small but very comfortable and spotlessly clean.

I was relatively close to the kitchen so could hear the breakfast preparation. But it wasn’t very disruptive and a very quiet street through the night.

Our room was very small, as was the shower. When booking it would be worth phoning the hotel to ask for the largest room possible.

Arden House is a lovely B & B within walking distance of Harrogate Town Centre with excellent hosts.

Jan and Mark were excellent hosts. We had a lovely reception on arrival. Jan could not have been more helpful in assisting us with the use of a street parking permit, bringing in our luggage, providing a street map of Harrogate and telling us about the local area. The room was very comfortable and there was a comprehensive choice of fruit, cereal and cooked breakfasts. We were travelling with my elderly mother and both Jan and Mark came to our assistance when her wheelchair brake became locked.

We felt that there was nothing to comment on in this area.

If you would like to feel that you are visiting in a lovely home with friends, this is the place.

Lovely breakfast buffet with fresh fruit, granola, toast or a cooked breakfast, full English or bacon and eggs. Jan, our host was very helpful in describing local areas of interest. She helped with maps and information about driving and parking.

Shower was quite small. Nice toiletries in bath, lovely linens and comfortable beds. Very homey atmosphere.

Great little BnB in Harrogate

Fantastic lovely hosts made to feel very welcome immediately. Really friendly and helpful with local knowledge, places to visit etc. Breakfast was superb. Eggs Royale and mushrooms. One of the best breakfasts I've had in a BnB. Plentiful fruit, beverages and extra toast available. 1st class!! Great proximity to walk into Harrogate but far enough away to get a little exercise. Relaxed feel in the accommodation, comfy beds, very quiet at night and our room was facing the road and great parking right outside the property for our whole stay. Perfect!!

Perhaps a little TLC needed in the bathroom maintenance (floor covering a bit dated and maybe some new blankets on the beds) but overall nothing that would put me off staying again and the room was good for the price paid and comfortable for two single adults sharing a room for a two night stay.

Breakfast couldn’t be faulted - there was a tremendous amount of choice. Ask for it and you will get it. Our room was very nice, but could have done with a dust before we arrived. The bed was very comfortable indeed. The location was spot on - literally 5 minutes walk into the centre of town. It was also very quiet. The hosts were the friendliest hosts you could ask for. Nothing was a trouble and the advice from them was very helpful. We were concerned that booking this guest house would be like a B&B, but we were pleasantly surprised we were left to our own devices unless we needed help. We can’t thank them enough.

The room was a bit dusty - nothing serious, but a quick clean up would have helped. There could’ve been a better mirror above the basin in the bathroom. A shelf to put personal items on would also help. We may be being picky, but a review is a review and we can only be honest, in our opinion.

A well located B n B for exploring Harrogate by foot, a real home from home experience, wonderful breakfast and lots of

Very warm welcome, right from the start when I called. Own car park and a space as I was late in. Lovely good, great attention to detail for a delicious breakfast, lots of healthy choices, and interesting fruits and homemade jams made by Jan. Great location. Jan recommended a super Turkish restaurant, just fine the road, which was perfect for our needs after a long drive. The room was clean and comfortable, memory foam mattress was a bit soft for me as I need a firm mattress but for two nights it was fine 😊 Jan and Mark really had thought of everything and we felt really looked after as their attitude toward their guests and their business was exemplary. Would definitely stay again.

Awesome Arden

Excellent location, nice and central for our needs,Mark and Jan were fantastic hosts, the full English breakfast was spot on and fruit etc was plentiful, the room was nice and the bed was possibly one of the most comfortable we have slept in while away, can't fault them at all, would certainly stop again

Beautiful B&B in quiet street with off street parking and in walking distance to the centre. Beautiful front garden to spend some time. Super friendly, welcoming hosts. And a fantastic breakfast. I can warmly recommend this place.

As I booked economy, my room was as advertised very small. I had everything I need, but might go bigger next time. It's an old, charming building, but has thin walls and you hear your neighbours. Nothing to complain, just to note.

An enjoyable stay 👍👍😍

First class in all respects. No problem parking with a voucher for on street parking if car park is full. I parked just outside the entrance and there seemed to be plenty of available spaces and that was at the weekend. It was a short walk into town. Jan and Mark were excellent hosts and the breakfast was superb with a great choice. No hesitation in recommending and would definitely stay here if in the area again. Wifi was excellent.

Location is great just a 10 minute walk away from the centre of town. Free parking was a bonus. The breakfast was 10 out of 10. Jan & Mark were lovely hosts.
