Great place to stay for a short break, close to the town centre.

The guest house is located in a nice area, within a few minutes walking distance of the town centre facilities. There’s always plenty of on street parking too.

Managed to find a parking spot right outside. Just a 5 minute walk to town, bars and restaurants. Would absolutely stay

Great for a wonder around Harrogate

Owner is super attentive. Room was comfy with plenty of storage space. It had a kettle in the room. I felt very welcomed. Location is superb. Had a relaxing time there.

enjoyable short Christmas beak

Everything about our stay at Murray House( apart from the weather-beyond their control!)-was perfect. adequately sized bedroom( our choice)good bathroom, everywhere clean and warm. The bed was extremely comfortable; refreshments/nibbles were good. Breakfast was really good, with an excellent choice of options. couldn't fault anything-would definitely stay again

I would definitely recommend staying here.

Lots of choice and a good selection for vegetarians. The rooms were immaculate. The beds were so comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was amazing. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The location is close enough to the town centre but its on a lovely quiet street.

Quiet, central, welcoming B and B

Warm and friendly welcome from delightful and hospitable owner. Warm and bright room. Cosy, comfortable bed. Quiet residential, central location. Delicious breakfast choice included in the price. Easy parking at no extra cost. Best stay I’ve had in Harrogate B and Bs. Would be pleased to return.

It was really lovely

It was a really lovely 4 day break in Harrogate.Tracey was very friendly, helpful and informative, we felt very welcome. The room was spacious ( thank you for the upgrade ) and clean and had everything we needed.The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice.We would highly recommend staying here. If we are ever back in Harrogate we will definitely stay here again. Close to all amenities too :)

Excellent breakfast with great allergy practice and utterly lovely stay!

The breakfast was amazing and freshly made. The owner was brilliant, so warm and considerate. My husband has a very serious nut allergy, which can be tricky when travelling. Often hotels get defensive or lack caution but Tracey asked all the right questions and even made sure we had a nut free müesli which has never happened before! We felt so looked after and treated. The room was nice a cosy too. A bit warm but open windows helped. Shower was great and everything nice and clean. Lots of storage in the room for those who, like me, enjoy unpacking and making it your home for the duration of the stay. 5 min walk from town centre. Really cannot recommend enough!

The rooms were spotless, such a beautiful place to stay with a quick walk into the centre of Harrogate. Tracey was brilliant and made sure we were ok during our stay. Just perfect.

Exhaust fan noise in the bathroom, a bit loud.. would be nice to have a towel rail next to the shower room reachable from the shower when the shower curtain is drawn

Excellent breakfast, comfy beds, spotless shower/toilet, attentive and welcoming host. Been coming to Harrogate for years but this is the first time we have stayed at Murray House. It will not be the last time!

Maybe a little tray in the shower to hold soap/shampoo etc. would have been useful

Was happy with the room. It was clean and quiet. Thought it was excellent value for money at £50 a night. Yes it was a single bed but there was still enough space to move around the room.

There wasn't anything I didn't like about the hotel. You get what you pay for. Ok it was 5 minutes from the center of Harrogate but what's a 5 minute walk into town.

The property location was just right for the bars and restaurants, not too close and not too far,just right for a peaceful nights sleep in a very comfy bed. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice cooked to perfection whilst parking on the roadside with a permit given by Tracey the wonderful host was a bonus
