    Beautiful country pub, welcoming staff and well equipped guest rooms. Great value Sunday lunch with good selection of beers, wines etc This was a stopover for us just off the A1 on our return from the Hebrides. We would stay here again if visiting the area

    A cosy village inn with well appointed rooms, a well stocked bar and spacious restaurant. Staff attentive and friendly, food very good. Would definitely recommend.

    We arrived at the hotel and were booked in but were n9t told about breakfast times ,check out times or asked if we had booked a table for the evening.We were taken down the road by a lady who never spoke to us to be shown to our room in a place called the Coach House.The room was ok but we noticed there were no biscuits to have with our morning cuppa and glasses but no bottled water which you usually get in a 5 star hotel.The staff who dealt with the evening meals were also lax and not interested in us. The saving grace was we had a lovely breakfast with good service.
