    Booked a room for a one night stay. Weather was extremely warm which obviously the hotel had no control over however we were unable to open the windows in the room we were booked and the temperature was 48 degrees in the room. We had one fan the just circulated hot air and it was unbearable. I asked for another fan even tried propping open the door to try to cool it down but it was impossible. It cooled down outside but because the window wouldn’t open, it even had a sign on it stating do not try to open the window, we were unable to get any fresh air in there. As it was ridiculously hot we decided we could not stay so we left early evening to find somewhere else to stay. When I handed the keys in they asked if everything was ok and when I explained the situation their answer was ‘yes that room is a problem’. We paid *** for a room we couldn’t sleep in and breakfast we never got. Don’t bother going there

    Kings Head Hotel is set in an excellent location in the central market square. We really enjoyed our stay in this well appointed hotel with wonderful staff . Room 102 was a joy with clear views of the square. All food enjoyed with excellent attentive staff in a relaxed setting.
