We thought that the hotel was very good, we didn't bring our dog but noticed the hotel was very dog friendly, if we stay again we would bring our dog.
The room was spacious and very clean, the location was good too with a lovely garden and close to the town.
Our breakfast was very nice and tasty, there was everything you could want on the buffet, continental, full english, toast, yoghurts, fruit and lots more, the cutlery was very clean too.
Would have liked the pillows to have been more squishy, our were a bit bulky.
Overall we would say the hotel was excellent.
Liked everything but pillows were disappointing.. sorry

This hotel.is absolutely stunning. We have stayed in alot of hotels and this is probably one of my favourite stays It is clean the bed comfortable the rooms just the right size the bathroom is beautiful. We had the Sunday lunch which was just so tasty. The beef just melted in your mouth.
We had a pizza the Sunday night which was like paper with hardly any sauce, cheese or toppings on.which made us nor want to eat there the Monday night. The car park is also a let down we get it is also a pub but think if you spend £260 for a 2 night stay we should get priority over parking.

Gorgeous hotel in a good location which was both clean and tidy. The rooms had black out curtains and the hotel have thought about things such as slow closing doors on landings so you aren't bothered by other guests. The bar and restaurant area are nice and parking was good. It was really clean.
The room was EXTREMELY hot. Despite all windows open, neither of us could sleep and so we had a long sleepless night of tossing and turning. Not the well rested, first night child free in a year, night we were hoping for.
