Very warm welcome. A comfortable, warm room and a really good Italian breakfast. Good parking.

We liked it all but think a few tweaks would make it perfect eg, storage of some things at the foot of the stairs and the pump mechanism on the body wash didn't function well.

I can honestly say this was the best breakfast I’ve ever had. Home made granola with raspberry compot, fresh fruit, Greek yogurt and homemade savoury croissants. My husband also had an amazing hot cooked breakfast.

Everything! The staff were so friendly and helpful. Location, a short stroll to the centre of town. Breakfast was amazing with great choices of , delicious! Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed! Parking available, always a bonus! Thank you all very much for our wonderful stay. When we come back to Ripon, we’ll definitely stay again!

Wonderful Italian Experience in Yorkshire

Excellent Italian Breakfast. I have steak and Eggs a good way to start the day. The pillows on the bed were wonderful. We would stay there again. The evening meal was fantastic. It cater for me as I am Gluten Free, not a problem to the great staff.

There was nothing to dislike. There was even parking space otherwise it would have been difficult to park.

A lovely combination of restaurant and hotel

The restaurant has just five rooms. The one we stayed in was over two floors with a separate bedroom and sitting room - both very well appointed and comfortable. The is a bathroom on each floor, one with a splendid, deep, bath - the other a walk-in shower. The restaurant serves very good Italian food and has a reasonably priced, interesting wine list. Breakfast is Italian - a lovely change from the 'full English' - with interesting food and plenty of excellent coffee. The staff are all very friendly. There is on-site parking.

As is to be expected in an old building, the stairs are rather steep.

Exceptional

Valentinos is located just off the market square and in a perfect position for exploring Ripon. The rooms are a very high quality with beautiful fittings and lots of extras to give it that special touch. The breakfast is out of this world. 3 courses and everything homemade. The staff are really friendly and helpful. This is our second stay at valentinos and it will not be our last.

Location, cleanliness, very personable people happy to help with anything. Food was excellent and plentiful, good selection of wines and drinks. Bed was very comfy. Definitely recommend it to anyone!!!

We only stayed one night but had a very pleasant stay overall.

The breakfast was excellent. Not your standard English one which made a very nice change. Glasses of water with slices of lemon and glasses of orange juice with slices of orange. A couple of pastries provided before the main breakfast - a very nice touch. The room was provided with a large fan which was appreciated during the current very hot weather. The location of Valentino's was just a very short stroll to the centre of Ripon.

The room was quite small but perfectly adequate but a busy road outside. Bathroom a very good size. Needs a hand towel rail to the right had side of the sink.

Perfect stay

We were greeted on arrival and shown to our room by lovely friendly staff. The room was modern,spotlessly clean with tea, coffee,fresh milk, and water in the fridge. The bed was huge,comfortable, as were the pillows. The breakfast was amazing and plentiful, with as much juice, tea, or coffee as you required. Our waiter, Liam, was a lovely, pleasant, and very polite young man a credit to Valentinos. We also had an evening meal, again, the food was delicious and plentiful with excellent, lovely attentive staff. We would highly recommend this place, and have already booked to return. 😃.

Our room overlooked the road and junction, so traffic noise started early. Obviously, nothing the hotel can do about it, but just so people are aware, if you end up at the front of the hotel.

What a fantastic find

Amazing stay at such a welcoming hotel/ restaurant. The people who run it were super friendly and welcoming and the Italian breakfast was brilliant - so nice to have different breakfast choices. We arrived exhausted from a long bike ride and they immediately caught the mood and suggested a cold beer in the sun before checkout which they brought out. It was these little touches - and there were others like the home made biscotti in our room, that made this stay so special. Big recommend.

Fantastic hotel with incredible staff & breakfast!

This place is fantastic!! We were blown away by how nice the staff were from start to finish - we arrived late and they very kindly sorted us something to eat despite the kitchen being closed. The bedroom and bathroom were new and very clean, and both had anything you could need. The breakfast was fantastic, lots of choice of different things. Couldn't recommend this more highly - already hoping we can come back one day! Thank you so much for having us.
