The Kings Arms Hotel

Location was amazing, communication was really good prior to arrival Shower was hot and powerful Good variety of Tea and coffee in room Rooms had just been refurbished to a great standard.

For a walking/cycling area the portion sizes of the breakfast would not set you up for the day Breakfast was busy so we had finished our teapot by the time food arrived. Only one person serving at breakfast which seemed a lot Having said that the food was delicious. Our toilet flush was temprmental but we managed. Bathroom small (the door didn’t open fully) but again for one night we managed fine We went to the other pubs for a drink and by the time we got back here the bar was closed 10.30 ish.

Centrally located for good walking Food ( evening meal & breakfast) was excellent with lots of choice. Slightly ‘rustic / dated ‘room but comfortable and had all that you required. Very friendly and welcoming staff on arrival.

Room could be a bit more updated

Wow- absolutely incredible. Stayed a few years ago and what a transformation. Incredible hotel, wonderful food, beautiful setting and lovely staff. We were blown away with how beautiful the room was and all the details. Excellent dog friendly stay I can’t wait to come back!! Such good value for money

Location right in the centre. The evening meal was excellent.

There was a blocked drain smell coming from bathroom. There should be orange juice, cereals, fruit etc at breakfast. Got served tea and coffee but by the time the cooked breakfast came drinks were cold. Would have been nice for the waitress to ask if we needed more tea, toast etc.
