The views were wonderful. We were close to the pub which served tasty food. The house was comfy and had everything you'd want. We really enjoyed our stay. Swaledale is beautiful
There was no wood for the fire. Although we were able to get some from a few miles away it was a shame not to have enough for the first night. We found the place a little tricky to find. Specific directions, not just the satnav, would be helpful

The cottage was lovely and homely, the kitchen was great, lots of utensils, an extra smaller fridge & a dishwasher was super handy. The bathroom also was so nice, the shower was fantastic! The temperature in the cottage was also great (I usually run cold!) it was a typical 'spring' weather weekend so arriving to a nice warm house was a really great plus, the temperature in the cottage stayed perfect all weekend.
The location was great, the Punch Bowl Inn up the road was amazing for dinner and it was a good base for our day trips!
Just a couple of minor things but it did not affect our stay in any way - we did find the pillows to be quite hard, we ended up using the cushions from the sofa in our pillow cases instead! A second thing was check out being at 9.30am, it did originally say 10am on the listing and we did feel that was a little early considering check in is at 4pm.

The cottage had everything that we needed. It is very well-equipped and spotlessly clean.
We struggled to find the cottage initially but the Booking.com people were very helpful and sorted our issue out quickly. The instructions in the folder at the cottage regarding bedlinen are different to the ones emailed to us! That is why we left the bedlinen on the floor. We also put the bin out but it wasn't emptied.
