Family feel on the lake shore

The hotel is situated right on the water with most rooms facing the lake and a wonderful terrace overlooking the lake. The hotel feels like it is family run (perhaps it is) with very friendly receptionist checking me in. My room was fairly basic but with a very comfortable bed, super clean, modern bathroom and wide balcony overlooking the lake. Further down from the terrace is a deck with sunchairs and access to the lake. There is also a pool, but it is quite small and is actually partly under the terrace. You can easily get a drink from the friendly staff at the bar-restaurant and take it with you to the deck. There is public parking right next to the hotel where you can park for free for a limited time. As I was arriving late Saturday afternoon I could leave my car there until Sunday morning. The hotel has a restaurant but I opted to eat on the other side of the street where there is a restaurant with terrace (no lake view) with a very local atmosphere. Breakfast was simple but more than sufficient, especially with the wonderful lake view.

The hotel was a good value for money, excellent location by the lake with nice views from the restaurant, walking distance from the train station, nice staff (the lady that was serving breakfast and the front desk staff). Moreno was extremely nice so as the man that drives the boat (don't remember his name). Would love to come back.

Nice room overlooking the lake, the views are stunning. Lovely to be able to go swimming right in front of the hotel. Restaurant available at the hotel also overlooking the lake.

Very hot room, ceiling fan is not enough. Hard bed. Average breakfast and food in the restaurant for the price.

very clean. staff very attentative. Nothing is too much trouble. The location and views are exceptional. The infinity pool is ingested but welcoming on hot days. There are jacuzzi bubbles at one end to sit in and take in the views. The owners sons love to experiment with cocktails which was good. free pedlo and large bathing deck on lake front. very relaxing

The only improvement which is common in all nearby hotels is lack of drink making facility in there rooms.

Amazing lake view with many conveniences at an affordable rate for the area!

We loved the location. It was a little further away from the main town of Lugano which was perfect for peace and quiet. The balcony in our room overlooked the lake and offered a spectacular view. The restaurant in the hotel was lovely and on the lake as well. We also loved the paddle boat that we could take out into the water.

The room was rather small but clean and comfortable.

Altes Zimmer im 1. Stock, das Bett sehr klein. Mitreisender im gleichen Zeitraum für nur 5.- mehr im dritten Stock grösseres Zimmer, Doppelbett und hat viel später gebucht. Frühstücksbuffet akzeptabel, Rührei für 4.- extra.

Sehr Familiär , super schöne Lage und Blick vom Zimmer auf den See. Sehr freundliche Menschen und die Zimmer sind sauber und werden auf Wunsch täglich gereinigt! Zumindest mein Zimmer hatte eine schöne Ausstattung! Direkter Zugang zum See mit Sonnendeck.

Ich hatte ein Zimmer im vierten Stock und darin nicht viel geschlossene Staumöglichkeit für die Kleidung. Der Balkon ist winzig, reicht aber für eine Person und ist von den anderen Balkonen der Nachbarzimmern einsehbar. Die Stühle darauf sind zweckmäßig. Das abendliche Menü ist funktional und der Hotelkategorie entsprechend. Mir hat es meistens geschmeckt, aber nicht beeindruckt.

Direkt von der Hotelterrasse in den See!

Sehr gastfreundliches Personal, wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Ungezwungene, familiäre Atmosphäre. Sehr schöne Lage direkt am See, sodass man als Gast direkt von der Hotelterrasse aus schwimmen oder Stand up paddeln kann . Frühstück mit schönster Aussicht.Feines Essen mit Tessiner Spezialitäten. Die Käse Auswahl beim Frühstück war hammer! Das Parken hat man gut gelöst mit der Parkkarte auf dem öffentlichen Parkplatz um die Ecke.

Sehr schönes und zentral gelegenes Hotel. Historisches / regionstypisches Gebäude, in bestem Zustand. Hervorzuheben ist die seeseitige Terrasse - ein wahrhafter Genuss fürs Frühstück oder Abendessen - sowie der Swimmingpool und Sonnendeck direkt davor lädt zur Abkühlen bzw. Relaxen direkt am See ein. Frühstücksbüffet und Essen im Restaurant spitze. Sehr nettes, freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal im gesamten Haus. Hotelzimmer gut ausgestattet, gepflegt und sehr sauber. Zahlreiche gastronomische sowie Freizeitangebote in kurzer Distanz / zu Fuß erreichbar, ebenso wie öffentliche Verkehrsmittel wie Bus und Bahn oder auch Schiff. Diese sind für (Übernachtungs-)Touristen mit dem „Ticino-Ticket“ in der gesamten Region und ganztägig während des kompletten Aufenthalts kostenlos oder -reduziert (-> ggf. an der Rezeption danach fragen).

Familienhotel mit Flair

Traumhafte Lage am Lago Lugano. Perfektes Zimmer mit Seeblick + kleinem Balkon und hübsches Bad ebenfalls mit einem Balkon (!) Wunderbarer Privatsteg zum Entspannen und Schwimmen (Sonnenschirme, Liegen vorhanden) Nettes Restaurant, Seeterrasse für alle Mahlzeiten zugänglich, freundliche Bedienung! Wandermöglichkeiten, Saubere Strandpromenade.

Die Lage des Pools war etwas seltsam (halb von niedrigem Dach abgedeckt), aber für Kinder zum Planschen in Ordnung.

Wir genossen den kurzen Urlaub in Melide!

Die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist wunderschön. Der Pool ist sauber und erfrischend. Die Betten fanden wir bequem. Der Ticinopass für gratis ÖV ist sehr praktisch.

Im Familienzimmer gab es wenig Möglichkeiten, Kleider aufzuhängen oder einzuräumen. (Für 4 Pers.) Beim Frühstück warteten wir meistens eine Weile, bis wir Kaffee bekommen haben.
