A relaxing stay with stunning views, friendly staff, and easy access to Lugano.

Breathtaking views and wonderful, welcoming staff made our stay truly enjoyable. The hotel is conveniently located, just a 15-minute bus ride from Lugano city center. While the rooms are a bit old-styled, they were comfortable and perfectly fine for us. We would definitely return again.

Had to leave because of smell in the room

Staff friendly

The smell in the room was so bad that I could not stay there for the night. I tried to adjust to it, open window, go to eat and come back. But in the I had to leave and find a different place for the night. The smell is either deep inside the old carpets or wallpaper or it is from the cleaning supplies they use. Hotel denies a refund.

Wow the view - absolutely amazing! Very friendly staff. Good food in the restaurant. Well situated for the public transport and they also sent the Ticino ticket ahead of time.

Wonderful view to Lugano bay. Great buffet breakfast on nice terrace. Worth to be with some bus stops from Lugano center.

They have wonderful pool, so it is only a recommandation: to make a special automatic door for guests with electronic key on level of street, to make reachable pool without many steps.

Location with one of the best views for Lugano lake from almost top of the spectacular Bre Mountain. Private swimming pool. Participation in Ticino Free Public Transportation Program that is very convenient for active tourists.

Lovely Hotel with Stunning Views

Fantastic location with amazing views. Easily accessibly via bus - which was free for guests. Room and balcony were large and clean. Evening meal and breakfast were very good. Swimming pool also in great condition.

Hotel with a stunning view of Lake Lugano

Breathtaking lake view, discounts on the funicular with the guest card, and free bus rides — the stop is right next to the hotel. There is on-site parking; spaces are limited, but there’s also street parking available. There’s a swimming pool — it’s a bit inconvenient that you have to cross the road to get to it, but otherwise everything was great! Delicious breakfasts, and a restaurant with a terrace overlooking the lake. The room had air conditioning and a fridge, which was very convenient.

The hotel is a bit dated, but that didn’t bother us. The bathroom was quite small. The room was clean, but there was some trash left in the bin from previous guests

Perfectly clean, comfortable, lovely hotel with spectacular lake views. The restaurant was very good and the included breakfast was great. I would go out of my way to stay here again.

Breakfast was good. In general it was ok. Space was really good nice view value for money

we had dinner in the hotel the service was appaling we were kept waiting the server seemed to pass us by the food not that great. We were kept waiting on dessert, the meal was cold when it came to the table. The waiter just didnt seem to care or was under pressure as there was one person waiting on all the tables. We left without dessert or even a coffee as we were tired of just sitting around. The parking is a huge problem if you drive specially since its a mountain climb.

The breakfast was very good and definitely sufficient. The view is excellent and the bed + pillows are very comfortable

It is a little out of the way, which means you have the hotel as the dinner option or you take the bus to town. The shower is a little cramped. No facilities in the room to make a cup of tea.

Hotel with panoramic views from restaurant (breakfast) and rooms (original look from 1960s), on the hill overlooking Lugano, pool for sunnier days.

You need to take the bus, running every half hour up the hill.

Great view for taking pictures, pleasent stay

The hotel is nice, historical, the location is amazing, charging unit for the car was available. Reaching the place is not easy for driving if you have a car, ( for me I don’t like driving on big hight. Breakfast was good, staff were so descent and helpful. The price could be a bit lower.

great view over Lake Lugano and the city of Lugano. You must book a room with balcony and view, it is worth it. The rooms are very comfortable and big. Walking downhill to the city center takes about 50 minutes, 20 minutes by bus.

Unfortunately, the swimming pool, with fantastic views, is not heated. The service in the restaurant is very slow, although only few people were there....

Very nice hotel, location with amazing view, the staff was super friendly. There is the swimming pool across the road, was super during the hot days. The room was a bit dated, but clean, very quite to sleep. The bus to the city centre goes every half an hour till midnight.

The food in the restaurant could be better. The breakfast was good, but dinner was not that tasty. Went to the centre to have better options.

Great view. Must have dinner to watch beautiful sunset. Rooms are very clean. Aircon was a bonus in the summer heat.
