The property is on the water and paying a bit extra for the view was worth it. The pool was beautiful and my kids enjoyed all the activities. Maro World was really impressive with so much to offer. If you have kids, this is a really perfect place for them.
The property is looking a bit worn and could use a fresh coat of paint and some updates. If it had been a trip for me and my husband we would have chosen a different property. Breakfast was good but I wouldn’t recommend dinner there.

This was my first solo holiday and I stayed at this hotel for a week. I had the best stay. The hotel and food was great and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was perfect and a short bus journey to Dubrovnik Old Town, with the bus stop a short walk from the hotel. The hotel has a large pool, with the beach on the hotels doorstep. Crystal clear water and stunning views. The promenade is a short walk away with loads to explore and very picturesque. Highly recommend and would definitely return.
Nothing negative about my stay

We really enjoyed our stay and everything was excellent. Thank you. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The food was very good and plentiful. The pool and surroundings were beautiful. The gardens were lovely and it was a delight to see that they had erected bat boxes, so very nature friendly.
Nothing, we liked it all.

Staff were super friendly. We had a great honeymoon there. Super plus was that they prepared lunch boxes for us as we had to catch an early morning ferry.
The pool is not heated.

Fantastic location, in Lapad area just outside of Dubrovnik. Highly recommended. Hotel was comfortable, with great views from our balcony. Room was ok, a bit small but it had everything for our needs including a fridge. The food there was excellent, buffet style and plentiful. The pool and adjacent beach was ideal . Uber to old town €7 or there’s a bus for less.
Only little dislikes. No free water in the room daily, only one pillow each and no water or drinks for free with evening meals. There was coffee machines and orange/apple juice with breakfast.

Food was absolutely amazing and delicious, our family loved it ,many different selections each morning alongside juices water and coffee
The only thing I would have added would be drinks at dinner as these are not included in the price. Otherwise everything was great.

Terrific hotel by the seaside with an amazing family friendly pool. The hotel guests are delighted in a well rounded brunch and dinner that brings a local and flavorful experience. The hotel staff were great, guiding us to the local bus route, visiting the beautiful city with ease. Also walking distance to nice attractions and sightseeing. I wish I would have stayed longer.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and the property was clean and comfortable. It was very family oriented and aside from the spacious pool and water slides, there were special activities planned for children in the pool area the afternoon that we were there. There is a children’s trampoline park a short walk from the hotel next to a large, outdoor restaurant/bar that happened to have live music that evening. The nearby souvenir shop also had a robust assortment of offerings. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner at the hotel as both included a large assortment of delicious food, buffet style. Aside from the pool and trampoline park, our children also loved the pool table and fuse ball table in the lobby. While we didn’t go to the beach as our stay was so short, it was nearby and looked lovely.

We had two adjacent rooms with a door in between, which was lovely. The breakfast had a good spread with live counters for various egg varieties. The location is great; the pool is large and clean, with a separate kids' pool featuring slides. Copacabana Beach is just a 5-minute walk down the poolside. The Beach is lovely, more like a secluded beach for all the Valamar hotels in the Babin Kuk area. Not very crowded, and there are also some water sports activities available. Beautiful views from the pool and the beach. Bus no. 6, from a nearby bus stop, runs every 10 minutes and takes you to the Old Town (Pile) in 10 minutes. This service runs until 1:00 am, a good way to enjoy the Dubrovnik nightlife.
Their dinner time closes at 9:00 PM. I think considering the summer rush and busy Dubrovnik nightlife, they should have stretched it until 10 PM at least in the peak season. The pool towels are not free; they charge 2 euros for rent, and the towels were all old and worn out.

breakfast buffet
The A/C was not working in the room, it was hot. When we called the front desk and they came to look at it and said it was fine. We were only staying one night so let it go, but it was uncomfortable.

Very good value for money including stay + food and an excellent playground.
Friendly and efficient people. Very good food always served fresh and with a variety of choices. Comfortable rooms. Very good pool. Breakfast until 01:00pm! Amazing place for kids with a huge playground and cozy bar with live music for the parents.
Had to ask for fresh towels.

Excellent food, very friendly staff, great room, and location. The pool was great too.
It would be great if plant based mylks (soy, oats, etc) were offered beyond breakfast time and also at the bars. There was only cow's milk available when ordering coffee at both the reception bar and the pool bar.

The breakfast was really good but the dinner just ok.
The location, the staff, the gardens, the beach.
6.0 / 10.0
The surroundings of the hotel are good: pool area, leisure etc.
The rooms were too modest, almost like hostel rooms: very simple and old furniture, dirty and torn curtains, damaged walls, not enough toiletteries in the bathroom, no water kettle or any water/tea/coffee making options, no mini bar, even no remote control for the TV (provided upon request). There was no parking upon arrival, even though it should have been secured in the price paid. Reception staff not very friendly, simply advised no parking was available as the hotel was full, so we had to park in the public street nearby. Too noisy as the rooms/walls are not that soundproof.

Friendly staff
Rooms are very small and dated, cats everywhere, smokers directly outside restaurant door.

The location was great. Beautiful beach, beautiful pool area and Maro club was perfect for the kids.
The food was horrible. They served the same thing every night that we were there. The juice was diluted, the yoghurt was diluted. It tasted like water with some flavor added to it. Also the rooms were not clean and were very old. My family and I walked out of there covered in flee bites. We are assuming it’s from the dogs that are allowed in the rooms, which I think is totally in appropriate. For the money we spent, I do not think it was worth it.

The views were stunning and you will get some stunning pictures, room was upgraded to pool and sea view which was hugely appreciated and stunning at night, overlooking the lit up Dubrovnik Bridge.
The location was great for jumping on buses into town and easy to use and 2 bus stops 5 minutes away.
Whole area was safe and inviting with some local shops and Maro World for kids was excellent. A LOT of money has been spent on this centre, 2 minutes from the hotel reception in a separate bespoke building.
Bedrooms newly decorated, large and bright. Beds comfy although 2 pillows would per person would be a huge improvement. Bathroom all new, large walk in shower with excellent water pressure, housekeeping service excellent.
Lot more steps down to pool and beach than photos would suggest so think twice if you have a problem with them in general but on bright side you'll get more than your daily 10k steps in here!
Fabulous number of activities to choose from but nothing organised as Eay season, same with evening entertainment, non existent during our stay, the hotel appeared to have only been open a week or so. Reception staff good although many seemed new and not overly familiar with the local area so double check everything they say.
The central park close by has all the other Valamar hotels around it and you can use the facilities in each, well worth a wander to see their individual bars and pools etc.
Food good on general but annoying that the drinks machine is turned off for evening meal except water and this is an expensive add on you won't be expecting.
I would also say it is a great choice for solo travellers and there is a calm safe feeling abput the whole area. I would travel there as a lone traveller without any hesitation.
Beach bar and pool bar VERY EXPENSIVE, so beware and take vast sum of money!
Hotel reception bar also overly expensive and not enough of indoor seating for number of guests so no idea what happens in peak season
Beach was mostly noise and disruption of experiencing mini digger moving about shingle continuously and the images advertised were not what we were faced with, which was a shame but that was only a minor irritation as we got on buses and went island hopping and visited old town and harbour etc.
The beach is more stones than pebbles and sea not easy for kids to get in, everyone really needs a pair of Water Beach Shoes to protect feet. This is however the same on all the beaches.
However, overall, I absolutely loved my entire stay here and found it great value for money as Half Board is essentially Full Board due to the breakfast and brunch til 1pm then dinner at 7pm.
If you are a drinking all inclusive type of traveller/family who don't stop eating and drinking, this will however cost you a lot of extra money!
Fabulous place to relax, get away from it all and watch the boats go by and look at beautiful scenery.
8, possibly 9 out of 10 overall
I will be back 😁

Breakfast is ok++
Pool is good, though sunbeds are being reserved by guests and hotel does not enforce its "no reservation" policy.
Lunches and dinners are meh.
Room was not quiet: can hear all the noise from the bar until it closes.
Room was dirty: found spider webs hanging from the ceiling, dirt between beds... even though the bathroom is cleaned every day and the beds are made, the dirt and the webs have not been removed from the whole stay.
On arrival, there were no more parking slot available (despite pre-checkin). Hotel told us to park along the street, that it was okay, and that they will have some spots on the next day. Next morning, I find a parking ticket!! The hotel just said that it was not their fault, and that it was the first time it was happening. I asked for a compensation, but they did not agree. Deplorable. I'll have to pay the full fine + fees from car rental because I was leaving before I could pay the fine by myself...

Great location right along the beach. Very clean and well kept. All meals were provided during our stay which was perfect for days when we were done with a tour and just wanted to come back to the hotel and lay down but hadn’t had dinner.
The only thing I didn’t like was that I wish more rooms just had single queen beds instead of the double twin bed we got.
9.0 / 10.0
Facilities and Staff were wonderful. Meals are ample with a lot of variety but nothing fancy. As a tip - there are 2 dining and buffet areas. The one on the east side of the hotel is smaller and less crowded. Maro world is a short walk away and a fantastic place for kids. We used the bus extensively to go to Old Town. Bus tickets for sale in the gift shop in the hotel lobby. Family of 3: 2 adults, one child on a 'twin' bed, all in the same room.
Small things. The further you get from the lobby - the quieter it is. Something to consider when selecting a room. Rooms are a bit small, and feel a bit dated - but you are not spending much time in the room. If you are not in the EU and reserving through Booking.com or another website - be aware that your reservation is made in local currency and not Euros. Actual price paid at the hotel upon departure may be more or less depending on the exchange rate for that day. Our cost went up by about 10% which was a little bit of a surprise.

The room with the view was amazing, nice, modern, and clean. The room was quite small ( 2 adults and one child), but it was ok for us as we spent most of the day outside by the pool anyway. Nice restaurant with perfect food. There was everything you needed and everything your children needed as well. I believe no one stays hungry. It's a light all-inclusive, but you have everything, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel has a great Maro World, where we spend time with our son after dinner. It's a paradise for the kids. Pool area is very nice. The only thing we didn't really like were the hotel prices. But we knew that Dubrovnik is expensive, so be ready to pay for alcohol and drinks at the bar.

Great location and facilities. Very good resort for vacations with the family.
Swimming pool and dinner could be open a little longer.
