It had everything and the location was exceptional.
The carpet in the hallway needs replaced, it is plain and shows up every stain, a good quality textured carpet would give the rich feel to match to rest of the hotel. It was probably the only thing we didn’t like.

This is one of the best stays I have ever had anywhere.
The location was gorgeously located next to the clear blue waters of the Adriatic sea.
The breakfast was an absolute lavish feast.
We were upgraded to a beautiful suite.
We enjoyed the live piano music each night.
The staff was incredible!!!
They stored our baggage for us for several days at no additional charge. It was so wonderful.
The pool was a bit cold!

Beautifully maintained , wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable staff, very clean. The breakfast was phenomenal and exquisite on the balcony overlooking the Adriatic. We took full advantage of our gorgeous upgraded suite w balcony again overlooking the Adriatic. It was absolutely a dream. We also just loved the pools and used all of them! We also appreciated the lovely hardscape down to the very shoreline of the water and spent a lot of time in the water. It is so beautiful there. The bus to the old city was always waiting for us, very efficient , on time , clean and easy to use. We can’t say enough about our appreciation of this really incredible property.
Nothing. It was amazing. Deserves its 5 stars.

Great view, lovely pool and bars, wonderful breakfast. Bus to town right outside was very convenient.
We just couldn’t seem to get our coffee supplies refreshed or clean coffee cups without repeated requests. Housekeeping would just put our dirty cups back into the cupboard.
And the room key kept getting unprogrammed.
Little things that made it not feel 5-star.

The location was wonderful - breathtaking views of the sea. We also loved the pool area with easy access to the sea too. The hotel was busy but there were plenty of areas to sit in relative peace. The staff were very friendly too.
Wouldn’t say we didn’t like, more an area where we think the hotel could be even better - the food offering was good, but not exceptional. More variety in the different dining options too. But still a superb hotel.

Excellent location with fabulous views of the Adriatic Sea, and four pools with private access to the Sea.
Even though they don’t t allow smoking in the rooms we could smell cigarette smoke all the time.

Hotel was clean, well equipped. Rooms were nice and added bonus to have sun lounges on our balcony
Dinner options ok. Whilst staff were friendly, buffet was not that good.

Great views, nice sea
Advertised as a 5-star luxury property, but reality falls short:
- No daily replenishment of bottled water in the room
- Bathroom amenities are rather basic
- Breakfast is mediocre (though the view is stunning)
- Very small TV without smart features or the option to connect your own device
- Corridors feel like an old Soviet-style boarding house
- King bed but mattresses are separate, the hole between two people, not very romantic
Overall, it doesn’t live up to the standard of a true luxury hotel.

Beautiful setting. Rooms very nice. Breakfast expansive and staff at breakfast were very attentive.
Pool area very nice and a swimming area in Adriatic also.
Location was 20 minutes by public bus away from Old Town. Even though the bus completed the route at the Dubrovnik Palace Hotel making it easy to go into Old Town it was on a route with many stops and to load it in Old Town was very chaotic. Cost was reasonable at 1.5 Euroes. If you plan to relax at hotel it is a great location. If you want to spend your time in town a hotel walking distance to Old Town would be better.

The location was fantastic, with beautiful views. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room itself was spacious and comfortable. The pool and beach areas were also very enjoyable.
The food quality was very disappointing. On the first night, we found flies inside the food and complained — the only response was to remove the charge, with no other action or gesture offered. We also paid €22 for a salad that consisted of only two ingredients and was of very poor quality. The breakfast selection was below average for a 5-star hotel. Additionally, our bedsheets were never changed during the entire stay, only tucked in, which was very surprising for a hotel of this level. Overall, the experience felt far below 5-star standards, especially considering the price paid.

Great hotel, had everything you will expect from that kind of property. All the pool areas were wonderful. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Room was clean with an amazing view to the sea. Bus stop in front of hotel.

Great location - easy access to old town by bus, but in the ocean with great views, away from the noise area. Room is reasonably big with delicious balconies to sunset. Food is ok and concierge is polite and great help.
The food is decent but leaves room for improvement, especially when it comes to breads and fruits, which could be of higher quality for a hotel of this standard. The staff is polite, though not particularly warm — perhaps a cultural trait, but it may come across as intimidating for some Latin guests. Lastly, I’ve never understood how upscale hotels still have showers that don’t fully close, inevitably leaving water all over the bathroom floor

Bar not good, food disappointing. No snack food by the pool. You have to go to the restaurant to eat any thing

Exceptional location, efficient staff, impeccable beach and a great choice of food
It would be a great addition to the hotel operations to have a shuttle to the old city.

Beautiful view from the hotel room and the restaurants. A really pretty indoor swimming pool with jacuzzis and top views. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice and taste.
Very attentive staff - I would single out Lucas, the Argentinian young man, who provided a fantastic service at every meal we had.
Overall easy access to Dubrovnik historic town and the peninsula area.
The type of food served in the different restaurants was pretty similar. It would have been good to stretch the choices and the prices a bit more.

It was a relatively easy walk to restaurants and was well connected to the old city by bus. Great pool
Breakfast could have been warmer but understandable as such a large number of people to cater for, lots of choice and good quality

Very comfortable
Great location
Helpful staff
They charged us for the mini bar we did not use for both the rooms( for ours and our kids) after we left the hotel…
We had to call them and raise a grievance
Later they reversed the chargers

The facilities were excellent. Views of the sea are hard to describe. And we were assigned a suite sized room which is much bigger than a regular room.
The main restaurant was simply closed, without explanation. The elevator is confusing as they use a non-intuitive combination of letters and numbers to indicate the floors. There was a guy at the pool who generously shared his cigar smoke with everyone, and I didn't even have to ask for it.

Lovely sunset. Lots of pool area. Away from the hustle and bustle of old town, yet only 10 minutes away.

Cleanliness, swimming pool and sauna facilities, stunning view over the sea, rooms spacious and modern.

The scenary was incredible. Sitting at the pool or in the spa or breakfast and looking out to the sea was just idealic. The beds were very comfortable. The smell in the lobby was divine and instantly makes you feel like you're ready to relax. The staff in the restaurant and bar were so lovely and really went out of their way to chat even though it was very busy.
The coffee was not up to 5 star standard. One bottle of water for the whole stay in the room is not acceptable for 5 star this should have been topped up like the teas and coffees every couple of days.

Views from the room were amazing - especially sunset. Eating options were good.
The bus to the old town was cheap & regular. Easy to navigate.
7.0 / 10.0
Close to the sea, which gives a relaxing feeling.
The restaurants were closed earlier than instructed. Which is a problem, given that the hotel is located quite far from any other restaurant in the area.
This discomfort and annoyance was very surprising, given that at checking and in any printed information that is given, the closing times were clearly different then what was communicated by the staff in the restaurants.

We were unexpectedly upgraded to an ambassador suite, such a nice surprise:) The hotel and everything it offers is just wonderful; the rooms, the staff, lobby, breakfast area, the view, bus stop in front of the hotel that takes you straight to Pile gate… everything was perfect. Oh, and the hotel scent is divine!
Difficult to find anything… perhaps a magnifying mirror is the only thing we missed in our room.

Beautiful modern resort, main restaurant had a luxurious vibe, as with the indoor pool and spa. Staff were helpful and friendly. Upgraded to junior suite which made our stay much more enjoyable.
Spa and restaurant (including main buffet) was quite on the pricier side so ended up only having dinner at the restaurant once (salmon was delicious!).
As it was off season, not all bars and restaurants at the hotel were open.
