Overpriced stay; not worth it

Location and view were fine; the restaurant was also nice with a beautiful view.

Although we booked a room with a balcony and a sea view, the only good thing about it was the view. The balcony railing was in a very poor condition so it didnt feel safe to go near it. The room was very small, the furniture were old and looked run down, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. The bathroom was too small, especially the shower so it was diffiult for a tall man to fit in and take shower comfortably. The price of the room is definitely not worth the money. The staff was rude too. Although initially they spoke english to me on booking.com once we arrived most of them refused to speak english and give english menus. Also, we checked out 5 minutes after the check out time because we had to wait for the lift. As a result, the staff wanted to charges us an additional day for late check out, which after spending some time arguing with them, they finally agreed not to.

The property is located at the sea front, is tiny but very well organized. The restaurant with breathtaking sea view is remarkable for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you travel by car with a roof box, you’ll probably get the parking space near the hotel.

Waste of money

I liked the location.

The service at breakfast is a lady ordering you to sit down and tell her what to bring to your table The quality of food was poor and also the choices were limited. The mattresses were old and worn out, with a large hole in it. The heating did not work and the radiators were loudly cracking. The room also doesn’t have it’s own ac controller. The bathroom is small but at least clean. The furniture is outdated and the walls in the hotel are paper thin and you can hear everything.

Disappointment, average hotel for very high price for a beautiful view from the restaurant.

The hotel has really nice view from the restaurant. But that's the only value you pay for.

Except one nice lady, unpolite staff...we felt like we are anoying for them. Grado is atractive locality, they do not care if you will come again... Rooms are clean, but oldfeshion furnished, barhroom was unconfortable and stinky. The price does not corespond with the level neither service at all.

Sehr erholsamer Kurzurlaub

Die Lage und die tolle Terrasse sind nicht zu überbieten. Ich würde sagen das ist ein Kraftplatz ! Die absolute Nähe zur Altstadt ist ebenso top. Beste Lage in ganz Grado ! Zimmer Stadtseite ist ausreichend und vor allem sauber. Frühstück ist durchaus empfehlenswert. Reichlich an Qualität und Menge. Weiches Ei zusätzlich ist hervorragend. Parkplatz gegenüber ist komfortabel jedoch für meine Empfindungen mit € 15,00 a Tag etwas zu teuer. Klare Weiterempfehlung !!!

Zimmer+Bad spartanisch , Frühstück nicht der Rede wert Eine einzige Katastrophe, Empfang unhöflich, Parkplatz war Katastrophe um 15€ /tag mit Fußmarsch erreichbar, Betten waren Feldbetten aus den vergangen campingzeiten- durchgelegene Matratzen. Bilder auf Booking-com entsprechen nicht den Tatsachen im Hotel, mehr als 2 Sterne ist übertrieben.

Die Lage am Wasser ist top. Die Altstadt und der alte Hafen sind nur ein paar Schritte entfernt. Auch das Restaurant und das Frühstücksbuffet sind erstklassig. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen.

Wunderschönes, gemütliches Hotel direkt am Meer!

Das Hotel besticht in erster Linie mit seiner super Lage, direkt am Strand. Am meisten angetan waren wir jedoch von der Freundlichkeit des Personals! Schon beim Ankommen hat uns eine sehr nette Dame beim Einparken in die Tiefgarage geholfen, und wir durften auch früher unsere Zimmer beziehen! Die Zimmer waren blitzsauber & mit einer kuscheligen Bettwäsche ausgestattet, normal hat man es bei Hotels in Italien nur mit ungemütlichen "Überwürfen " zu tun. Auch das Frühstück hat uns überzeugt, es gibt alles was das Herz begehrt und man sitzt direkt am Meer! wir kommen gerne weder!

A reggeli a teraszon volt az egyetlen pozitív élmény.

Balkonos városra néző szobát foglaltunk 1 éjszakára. A 16-os szobát kaptuk, ahol a balkon felét a szálloda légkondicionálójának kültéri egysége foglalta el, ami éjszaka az ágytól 2 méterre zúgott. Az előre leegyeztetett parkolásért külön 15 € számoltak fel úgy hogy a garázsban a közlekedő részen tudtunk csak megállni mivel minden hely foglalt volt. Amire a megoldás az volt, hogy hagyjuk a kocsikulcsot a recepción és ha valaki el akar menni majd ők odébbállnak.?????

Nettes Ziel des Alpe-Adria-Radweges

Hotel direkt am Meer, Zimmer mit Balkon zum Meer. In der Umgebung sehr schöne Strasse mit viel Gastronomie. Abends auf der Terrasse zum Meer gegessen. Frühstück wurde für uns extra früh bereitgestellt, da wir morgens zum Bikeshuttle mussten. Sehr gutes Frühstück und nettes Personal. Stellplätze für unsere Ebikes in der Hotelgarage.

Das Hotel und die direkte Umgebung ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Nachbarhotels nicht bewohnt?! Zimmer aber gut.

Die Lage

Ich weiß gar nicht wo ich anfangen soll . Wir sind das 2.Mal hier abgestiegen. Diesmal war es ein Reinfall . Es hatte extreme Hitze und die Klimaanlage ist von Anfang an nicht gegangen. Ist uns nicht gleich aufgefallen , da wir schwimmen gegangen sind. Wenn das Hotel fair gewesen wäre , hätte es uns das gleich mitgeteilt und wir hätten uns ein anderes Hotel gesucht, da Zimmer ausgebucht. Aber dann hätten sie ja eine Rückerstattung vornehmen müssen. Wir hofften , dass wir in der Nacht wenigsten durch den Balkon etwas Kühle bekommen. Denkste , denn die Aussenjalousie war auch kaputt und konnten wir nicht rauflassen. Also Hitze auch in der Nacht. Horror pur. Es war uns dann alles Wurst und haben für weitere Nächte woanders gebucht. Das Hotel wollte uns als Entschuldigung ins Restaurant einladen. Zwar nett gemeint , aber lieber wäre uns das Geld zurück gewesen , da ja die Klimaanlage vom Anfang an nicht funktioniert hat

Die Lage

Bewertung unseres Aufenthalts im Hotel Marea (Grado, 12.–14. Juni) Kategorie: Mittelklassehotel Gesamteindruck: Große Enttäuschung – einziges Highlight: die Lage mit Meerblick. Zimmer & Ausstattung Die Zimmer sind sehr klein, das Bad winzig. Die Dusche ist kaum nutzbar, die Betten unbequem und rutschen auseinander. Die Klimaanlage war unzuverlässig. Ein Kühlschrank funktionierte akzeptabel. Frühstück bot grundsätzlich alles Nötige – allerdings kaum frisches Obst und nur Instantkaffee. Personal & Service Das allgemeine Servicepersonal war freundlich. Die Eigentümerinnen hingegen verhielten sich durchgehend unhöflich, teils bedrohlich. Bei der Ankunft wurde trotz schriftlicher Bestätigung die Parkplatzreservierung bestritten. Statt Hilfe gab es nur den Hinweis, „gelbe Zonen“ zu meiden – Ergebnis: Zusatzkosten. Später wurde verlangt, den Autoschlüssel abzugeben – für die eigene Fahrzeuglogistik der Chefin. Am Abreisetag drohte man uns, falls wir den Parkplatz nicht sofort räumen. Lage & Aussicht Einziger Pluspunkt: die direkte Lage am Meer. Die Frühstücksterrasse bietet einen tollen Blick, ist aber außerhalb der Frühstückszeit für Gäste tabu – zugunsten externer Besucher. Fazit Positiv: Lage & Ausblick Negativ: Ungastliches, teils feindseliges Führungsverhalten, schlechte Zimmerqualität, fragwürdiger Umgang mit Gästen. Schlussfolgerung: Wir haben uns permanent unwillkommen gefühlt. Keine Empfehlung – für das Hotel Marea.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder.

Die Lage ist ein Traum. Von der Terrasse aufs Meer schauen, das keine 10 Meter entfernt ist, was will man mehr? Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich, besonders auch zu unserem Hund. Auch das Frühstück ließ, zumindest bei uns, keine Wünsche offen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Schöner Kurzaufenthalt in der Vorsaison am Meer

Die direkte Lage am Meer, mit der Terrasse am und mit direktem Zugang zum Lungomare. Der Balkon meerseitig mit Ganztagessonne (in Hochsommer vielleicht ein Problem). Gutes Frühstück, gute Küche im Haus. Freundliches Personal. Kurze Wege in die Altstadt.

Das Restaurant hat gute Qualität, dennoch erscheinen mir die Preise etwas hoch. Begrenzte Parkmöglichkeit.
