Great location, clean and comfortable, but really noisy

The room is great, comfortable and clean. The location is the excellent and the staff was super friendly.

The noise. It was so noisy. It felt like all the noise from the street was inside the apartment. The place is great, but the noise made the night absolutely unbearable.

They only provide sheets for 1 bed!

Location & space was fine

The owner charged us €30 to put sheets on the 2nd bed, despite us clearly booking the listing that said there were 2 beds! We complained to Booking.com twice but they haven’t responded

Its ok for one night

Location

I stayed on the GF apartment, and you cant open the windows and smell funny. Also it wasn’t super clean, so much dust , most of all on the bed frame and bed sheets. There is noisy from outside as basically the room is on the street. But the most awful thing is that if the room Upstairs is booked too, then you wont sleep. You can hear everything - when they talk, close the doors, walk, cough. Awful.

If I had known the room was directly on the street, I would not have booked it. We were told by the person who checked us in that it would not be noisy, especially on a Sunday night. Well, she was absolutely wrong. We could hear all the noises during the night (cars, people talking loudly). In addition, the other guests who stayed at the room upstairs did not have any consideration nor respect whatsoever and slammed the door quite hard when they returned. We barely slept. Would not recommend that room.

Great choce for city weekend breaks

Suite 11 is conveniently located near Antwerp Cathedral and other city attractions. Parking garage Brabo nearby makes that easy to reach by car. The place is nice and clean and equipped with everything.

Great apartment in the heart of Antwerp

The location was perfect, literally in the heart of Antwerp. The flat was very modern and clean, the owner very friendly and helpful, gave us a lot of recommendation for restaurants when we arrived and asked for tips. We even got a CD from him as he is a musician. We will definitely come again! Antwerp is a great city.

The stairs are a bit tricky to climb but we got used to that in Belgium. It seems to be a thing there :) The water in the shower had very low pressure, so nothing much was coming out, not very pleasant experience to shower there.

Location was a convenient walking distance to all the major attractions. Good Vegetarian options -next door(Mexican) and around the corner.(Falafel Tof) . Jan was a very helpful host 🙂

Cosy Studio in the Heart of Antwerp

Location was amazing, right in the Center of old Town. Really nice and cozy studio at the 2nd floor. Comfortable beds and everything was super clean.

Great location but ...

I really appreciated the communication with Jan, the owner, both ahead of time and during our stay, as he made every effort to ensure we were able to check in early and were comfortable at his property. The location is absolutely topnotch, just steps from the cathedral and the restaurants and bars. I was touched by Jan's gift awaiting us at the end of our stay. I liked having free bottles of water in the fridge. The bathroom was enormous!

I wish that Jan and other property owners would always spend a night or two in their properties to know exactly what they have provided is sufficient from their own experience. IF that had been done, Jan would have likely had at least one or two sharp knives available. There were no knives to slice tomatoes, bread, etc. Likewise, there was only one mug and easily six-plus saucers that matched nothing in the cabinet. Having a blanket would have been appreciated as it was chilly at night as would have extra pillows for greater comfort. There was one extra pillow in the closet but it had no covering and looked soiled. I can't remember seeing in advance that there was NO opportunity to open or even see out of the glazed windows onto the street. The result was a dark and effectively windowless room. My husband and I have traveled the world and have never had such difficulty turning off lights in any room before - there were umpteen switches with oodles of combinations that even the person showing us the apartment initially didn't know how they worked properly! Hint, hint - suggest the skylights above the sink be washed - they're filthy! This cozy room could have been a 'ten' with a few minor improvements by the owner.
