Cute and chic downtown hotel in Pittsburgh

Very cute and pleasant hotel, location wise it was pretty central to everything with short Uber. Parking valet available and staff was attentive at all times. Room itself was very nice, well lit, spacious and clean. Had all the typical amenities you would find in any hotel (ex. Hair dryer, mini fridge, coffee machine, safe, etc.). Bathroom is large and several mirrors for getting ready with plenty of towels and toiletries for use. Restaurant was okay, seemed to be out of a lot of things but decent breakfast. The decor in the lobby and in the hotel restaurant was chic and comfortable. Enjoyed my stay, and would rebook again especially given the location and price for the room.

Only two small elevators in the hotel, found myself often waiting for long periods of time for it to arrive or squeezing into it with other guest. Became easily crowded with luggage, but waiting for the next one would take a while, especially when coming back from a long day or rushing out the door. Shower did not have a lip at the edge, and drain in my room was slow. Beware of potential flooding and subsequent slipping or falling. Heating and cooling in the room was strange, was set to 65 degrees when checked in which was freezing ac but when changed to 69-70 degrees the heat switched on. None of it particularly bothersome to negate the stay, just little things I personally noticed.

A great midweek get away to attend a concert, with beautiful views at night of the city.

We had a double room, because our friends were supposed to stay with us, but they didn't come. I was glad we did because we have stayed in the hotel before and the room was sooo small without a window in the room where the bed was and I almost asked for a different room because I am claustrophobic. So, I really enjoyed the double room with two windows and the extra space. Our favorite thing about the hotel is the terrace, we sometimes pick this hotel because of the terrace. The location is good too for parking with the garage being right next door. We had about a 0.7 to 0.8 mile walk to PPG Paints for a concert. Not a bad walk at all! We do really enjoy the hotel, just may always request a bigger room in the future.

Thsi stay was perfect, just will be sure to request bigger rooms in the future, due to experiences with staying in the hotel in the past.

Won’t stay again, felt like a closet not a room!

The Valet girl, she was more helpful then the hotel staff.

Size of the room, did not look anything like what is on the Internet, the woman working in the desk the day I left no was rude,no coffee or anything in the lobby, one selection for breakfast.

Room quite small with little to no natural light. Room lighting cheap and low. A large mirror not attached to the wall. Could have been dangerous if we bumped into it. The restaurant was advertised as open at 4PM. When we and several others arrived, it was not ready to be open. Some of us had other obligations and needed the 4 PM as advertised. At least 3 couples left and went elsewhere. A restaurant should be open as advertised.

very easy to access main sites in downtown pittsburgh, go central home base for activities

comforter was used and had to ask for a new one, not a lot of light in the room, and there was a small hole in the floor that was simply patched over with carpet

Good stay, close to everything we wanted, but you need to do some serious work on you rooms heating

Staff was wonderful! Room was good for single person, room was clean and bed was comfortable. Shower was great and towels were large and fluffy.

The thermostat did not work in my room. It was close to 80 degree's every night I was there. I called the front desk, and maintenance quickly came and reset the room to a cooler temperature. Unfortunately, every night, it would climb to 78 degree's. My daughters room also had the same problem, but she was smart enough to insist they change her room.

Great chic hote.

I’ve stayed at this hotel a few times and each time the staff at the front desk was very friendly. I booked at the last minute so the price was a bit higher than I paid previously. However, the room I was given was on the terrace level and there was an outside seating near the room.

Mixed feelings

The room was clean, there was a quiet AC, good location, walkable distance to everything, nice gym equipment.

Windows facing the brick wall and other rooms, low amount of natural light; the fridge is placed right next to the bad, so you are forced to listen to it the whole night. Not enough place to hang your towels; when you walk out the shower, you are likely to hit the toilet. Water bottles and safe are for an additional feel. Parking is $41, not $39 as Booking says.

There are many things needed to be done Small hallways, steps in hallways which make it harried to move around. The rooms are super small, there wasn’t hand soap available, they have charged me for $6 Canadian which I don’t know why, I was there for one night. The parking is super expensive

It was a decent night other than the mini fridge

Front desk was quick, Ac was on, friendly

Mini fridge did not work so leftovers were spoiled. My girlfriend and myself have been staying here every year for 6years and sometimes multiple times. We call this our hotel. But lately there seems to be more and more issues. Either ac not working right, mini fridge not working, not working, not receiving our reservation, shower flooding. We love this hotel but something seems to keep happening lately.

Parking was to expensive and the rooms were too little. There was no complimentary coffee and the staff were not pleasant at at all. They were not mean however, a little bit of kindness and courtesy would have been appreciated.

we didn’t like the fact that our room was so small in the pictures it looked like open and a lot of space. But when we got there we had no room to walk around the desk was directly infront of the bed and there was an Amour right in the walk way of the room that was in the was.
