The property is very well located. Within a walk of most things you might want to see including the theatres. There’s cheaper parking nearby which beats the valet parking rates. The room was a corner ‘suite’ with a nice view. Breakfast was a limited choice but on the whole pleasant. The staff are an exotic bunch who did a good job.
Our bathroom was very cold. Reported but not fixed. The lighting in the dark grey painted room was inadequate for anything but a tryst!

The pop up bar was great and the staff was super friendly. The bar/restaurant on site was great. Amazing cocktails made with care. The marble foyer is amazing.
We upgraded to a suite and it was very roomy but the sitting area was a little cold/uncomfortable from a seating standpoint. A comfy couch would change everything.

Cool hotel in downtown Pittsburgh. Walkable to lots of places and restaurants. Great vibe and decor. Comfortable, chic room.
Bit pricey over Thanksgiving weekend.

Great location and comfortable stay!

Very bad location as far as safety. Homeless people everywhere. Asked for servicing our room on Saturday and never done. Asked for an extra blanket and it was so thin it didn’t help at all. I would not recommend this hotel.

I like the modern industrial decor and the small little bar restaurant.
I thought the room was a little small, the bathroom wasn't a great design. The sliding shower and lavatory doors wouldn't shut all the way, the shower letting water get onto the floor, the faucet on the vanity top would spray water onto that vanity top whenever it was on, needs a little redesign.
Most of those are minor annoyances but they should be fixed.

The staff was top notch. The location was very convenient and the rooms were very comfortable. The atmosphere was sleek and the valets were very nice and professional
Honestly they're isn't anything that comes to mind.

The heart of downtown. Good location.
The rooms were a little dark and not much counter space in the bathroom.

Being downtown was nice and in walking distance of many restaurants was great.
We stayed in the 5th floor. You could hear the traffic like we were on ground floor level. During the entire night you could hear homeless people shouting and yelling random obscenities.
The shower setup was insane. There was no curb stopping the shower water from going into the rest of the bathroom. Only a curtain and a drain. Our entire bathroom flooded and had to spend time trying to mop it up with the towels we had and getting the excess water into the drainage.

The building itself is way cool. It’s been run down fairly quickly from when they say they renovated.
The room was so dusty. Like someone had not been there in months. There were pills under the bathroom vanity l- they didn’t clean underneath. The shower smells like sewage back up: Tile missing at elevator on 4th floor. Homeless people screaming in terror at night. The robe was black and shed everywhere and was crumbled up and not pressed. Wondering if it had been worn before. They charged me for the theee nights and booking.con did too right now sending my bank records to booking.con.

Location, we loved the hotel and the beautiful facility. Staff were so nice and efficient.
That my room price went up so much on a Wednesday.

The staff was very attentive and friendly. Julian was fabulous!
The "open" bathroom style is esthetically pleasing but noisy and lessens the users privacy. You can hear your hotel "mate"using the bathroom, brushing their teeth etc. This creates a lot of noise and disturbs the other person if sleeping or watching tv.

Wonderful greeting at front desk. When we had question in room maintenance was great very attentive
Dark room, small, bar limited, no room service, no info in room bout services.

The location is very convenient. It's walking distance to the restaurants at the Market Square.
Terrible experience based on the fact that:
1. When I entered the room, there was no chair for the desk. How was I supposed to use the desk for work?
2. The curtain in the room was broken, it could not be rolled up nor down.
3. When I took my packed dinner back to the hotel, the front desk guy asked me "Are you delivering the food". Excuse me?
4. The room given to me was very small.
5. When I booked the room, I added a note that "At the end of hallway preferred". However, the room given to me was right next to the elevator, which was very noisy.
6. The sound proofing was terrible, I could hear the very loud door-shuts, the sound of elevator, and the traffics on the street coming through the window. Basically, I could not really rest well.
The worst, I booked this stay from my company travel booking system. Marriott didn't give me credits for the stay, meaning no elite nights and points for the stay to my Marriot Bonvoy member account.

Beautiful hotel. Loved the decor throughout the hotel and in the rooms. Comfy beds, nice silky sheets. Would definitely stay again.

The vibe is just elegant with a twist of modern industrial. The rooms were small, but so cute.
I was a little confused on how to find the check in desk.

THE BUILDING WAS BEAUTIFUL
I WAS NOT A FAN OF THE DECORATION, THIS IS VERY PERSONAL... BUT IT WAS TO DARK FOR ME.

Room wasn't ready upon check in. Sat in lobby for 3 1/2 hours before a concert that I needed to shower to get ready, wich I was not able to, had to change clothes in the public bathroom by the receptionist for a concert I was well over 1000$ into already not to mention the 250$ room i was only able to use for the last half of the trip and not even be able to get ready for the concert.

We liked the property. Mixing the old but beautiful historic building with the modern/funky decor.
The restaurant was very good & the bartender/waiter went out of his way to answer questions & make suggestions. He even held our desserts in his cooler until we came back from our concert later that evening so we had a cold midnight treat!Loved him!
Our room was lacking . Only 1 robe, 1 coffee, 1 cup & when we asked at the front desk, we were told that we had to come down in the morning to grab coffee from thr lobby. Also, a regular mini fridge instead of the wine fridge would be a far better choice as ours was warmer inside the fridge than the actual room temp so it was of no use to us.

location
room is way to small for the price. I seen other rooms that were big for the same price

Great hotel. Our stay was very comfortable. If you're going to watch any of the big 3 teams, It's close to all the sports teams facilities. But... If not...
The downtown location is a dead town on the weekend. We spent most of out time walking about an hour away to find some lively spots. 10-15 minutes by car.

it’s a nice and clean hotel
the sound of the airco was way too loud

Loved the proximity to the water.
Not sure you can solve this but felt uncomfortable with some of the people who were yelling and using profane language with one another outside the hotel.

Everything about the experience was glorious! I inquired about upgrade options for my husband's birthday, but didn't get any replies besides the first message (offering cake, balloons, and bar vouchers), but there was a room upgrade, balloons, a special drink mix and breakfast voucher for us when we arrived!
The room was stunning. We were so impressed by all of the small touches that were thought of (helpful, automatic lighting, shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers in the shower, individual bottles if desired, easy housekeeping (one day we only needed towels and the next we were welcomed with a fully straightened room upon our return, and also the housekeeping staff was so sweet and obliging), room service (which honestly got messed up the first morning, but was handled beautifully), concierge, aesthetic, location, comfort, etc. I want blackout shades like the ones from our room. For real.
I'm not sure we'll need to stay somewhere walkable like we wanted for his stay, in the future. But this is one of my favorite experiences. My husband is pleased, as well. Even though his Happy birthday card was addressed to my (unchanged) last name lol.
Thank you so much for the terrific experience!
One of the elevators that shook every single time we used it (alone or with others). The sink faucet. That's literally the only things I didn't like.

location and part of major hotel group —
This is an old property that just doesn’t quite feel right — it’s superficially clean maybe - but tired and worn — and same with staff — not the most positive and motivated group
