Driving away that's the best part
Room was disgusting. Corner room could see anything from where I was at. No help bringing or leaving with luggage. Terrible setup. Valet is 47?. Just all around experience terrible

having to figure out how the heck to get in. I drove in circles for 20 minutes, trying to figure out how to get positioned properly for the valet area. Ended up driving in the bus lane. Had a cop talk to me of course told him I was from out of town trying to get to the embassy and he told me he’d allow it this time. Thank God! it was horrible never again.

The location was great...Loved that there was so much space in the room. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was good along with happy hour.
It was hard to warm up the room...the vents seemed too small to accommodate the size.

Location was excellent for navigating transportation around Downtown and to and from the sporting events we were in town for.
The facilities seemed outdated and overly used. The towels and sheets had stains and need to be replaced with newer sheets. I would upgrade it to match the price we paid per night.

The food was delicious, they had a wide variety to choose from, very happy with that.
Their tables are setup weird, my 15 year old grandsons comment and I agree with him.

Clean. Beautiful. The complementary breakfast is such a great breakfast bar with tons of options. Great walking distance to all downtown Pittsburgh’s attractions.

Location
Didn't have clean bedding for pull out bed. Took a hour to get clean bedding after called front desk. Service staff were talking about how they are all sick while my family are eating. Had to wait for 20 mins for Valet two different times. Paid additional $40 for vallet $500 dollar room.

The rooms were clean and nice. The food was cooked well. The front desk members were helpful.
Cleaning staff was on their phone not paying attention to what floor they got off of, people waiting for an elevator, trash bags left on an elevator. Popcorn all over the floor for hours in the main lobby area. The traffic flow for breakfast was awful! Weird lines with everyone in the way and no directionality. The dining area for breakfast needs to be completely reconfigured.

Good breakfast. Nice pool. Decent food and friendly service at the bar.
Rooms are fairly big.
Everything is worn out. Service at front desk and housekeeping poor to mediocre… they left garbage outside our room for hours and we ran out of toilet paper (no, no extra left in the room).
Parking in downtown Pittsburgh was miserable with huge rental minivan.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, the morning desk clerk was very helpful with an issue i had with check in. She was able to find me an available room before 4pm which saved the day with our event we were attending that day. I wish i would have gotten her name but didnt. the views were also amazing.
There wasn't a light bulb in one of the lamps by the bed which was a little upsetting. During the morning continental breakfast I saw dirty dishes everywhere, including on the litlle "bar" before you got to the food. I feel cleanliness could have been a little better.

The breakfast was pretty good although the line for the made to order eggs was really long sometimes. I loved the free happy hour. The bathroom was huge, probably could have added a bit more space the bedroom as there was no room for my suitcase in the bedroom.
The room refridgerator kept turning itself off, thus spoiling my delicious dinner leftovers that I had hoped to take home with me. When checking out on Sunday, we had to wait 45 minutes to get our car from the Valet. I sure wish we would have known about the self parking option across the street. I should have driven around a bit more to check it out before just going with the valet. The valet parking was also very expensive. Line for the made to order eggs at breakfast got really long sometimes and the waffles were awful.

The breakfast was a nice set up but me and my partner dnt eat pork so we were unable to eat meat… maybe in the future other meat proteins can be available but other then that ..Our stay was incredible we had a great time in the Downtown of Pittsburgh we will revisit 😊
I had stated if you can serve something other then pork for breakfast but our stay was still great

The staff during the evening was helpful, unfortunately the staff we dealt with during the day was a bit more difficult. The parking/valet staff was helpful and quick. The chef who makes the omelets during weekend breakfast was wonderful and friendly, and he's the hardest working man at that whole place. Give that man a raise.
When we checked in on Friday, we walked into our room and it was 80 degrees F. We informed the front desk, and they treated us like we didn't know how air conditioning units work. "Are you sure you turned it on? Was there a snowflake? Give it more time, it will cool down." My favorite one was "Oh, it only goes down to 68 degrees" (which was not correct, it goes down to 62). It felt like gaslighting. The room continued to heat up and eventually reached 84 degrees. We had to go to the local Target to buy fans, and it cost over $75.
Eventually, the heat of 4 adults and a child was too much and we informed the night staff. She visited the room and eventually moved us to a new room at midnight on Friday and we had to haul ass to another floor. The pull out bed in the living room was essentially a trampoline with thinnest mattress i've ever seen. Was not a comfortable night's rest.
We visited the pool, which was much colder than we expected. They did not replenish the towels.
The room was a bit dirty. We found dust and grime in the bathroom and kitchen area. I'm not expecting perfection by any means but i've stayed at cheaper hotels and they had cleaner rooms. Was expecting a bit more care for an over $700 stay

location was good and close to lots of things to do.
The rooms was old, furniture had marks on it, banged up, the cushions on couch had stains, ottoman had stans all over it, housekeeping never cleaned my room after saying they would, called for towels/coffee and took 1.5 hours to get.

Breakfast was great, valet was quick and easy, a little delay at checkout for valet but to be expected and I was able to order the car in advance and it was there by the time we came down. Right in the center of downtown so close walk to everything. We came in from 6 hours away and they were even able to accommodate our early check in request at noon.
We had no complaints at all. Quick weekend getaway and the hotel was great.

Rooms seem to be on all high floors because the hotel doesn’t start on the first floor. Depending on what room you have- you could have a nice view of a garden/fountain space and the Omni William Penn hotel. Bartenders were nice.
The air conditioning was not working in my room. We complained 4 separate times, and multiple people came in the room to try to fix it, without success. Spending a day and a half in an 80 degree room was miserable- it felt cooler outside. Then, they finally switched us to a different room with working air (to a nicer room with a better view, which was nice) and the TV didn’t work. Again, complained multiple times multiple people came to try to fix it without success, but at that point I noticed the $100 bill I had in my wallet was gone. My wallet never left the room, so it had to be staff who took it. I know I should have locked it in the safe, but I just didn’t expect my things to be stolen from my hotel room. After that I just lived with no TV the rest of the stay.
Other notes- hotel seemed generally low staffed, as most places are these days- at breakfast all the food would be out except oatmeal and then you could stand in a long line for omelets, and no plates, bowls, Milk, etc. Had to wait and track down staff to ask them to refill- they were nice and seemed to be trying their best. The hotel is by a bus stop, so a decent amount of homeless people near by, which is not totally unexpected for a downtown hotel.
8.0 / 10.0
All the fundamental things you'd want from hotel facilities. Free breakfast is a BIG plus in this area. Good central location in downtown Pittsburgh, near a decent parking garage and close enough to market square/convention center/other attractions.
AC units can be hard to fine-tune. We had a door with a lever handle lock that had the lock stuck and this sadly did not get addressed throughout our stay. Room had a sliding door bathroom with no lock, could be troublesome for some.
