I would choose a different hotel if I knew about horible staff and scam

The property is good , standard 3 star hotel. Feels a bit like a low income housing turned into hotel rooms though. The rooms are dumb. You can feel humidity in there probably due to AC. Breakfast was good also.

The only thing that I didn’t like is staff. 1. They changed me extra money for fees and taxes on the property and the weirdest part on the checkout. I claimed that I fully payed for my stay via booking.com I showed that fees and taxes were included on top of the room price. But they charged me still And were laughing at my accent when I tried to negotiate this issue to me . It was my worst staff experience in my life. I felt scammed and humiliated I want my money back!!! If you wanna good stay and treated nice without paying fees and taxes TWICE

The staff was excellent. Friendly, helpful, kind. When we left, after we got to the airport, I realized I left my favorite jacket at the hotel. I called them and the woman at the front desk DROVE TO THE AIRPORT and met my husband at the curb with it. I was so appreciative! I am very embarrassed that I don't remember her name - my husband thinks it was Andy and I heard Sandy - but she was so kind to do that. They were amazing. The pool area was calm, peaceful and really lovely. They had misters going when it got hot. The pool and hot tub temps were perfect.

We opted for one of the 'Best' rooms. It was lovely, but it needed a couple of improvements... The room was pretty dark - even with every light on. It seemed like the bulbs or the lamps were low voltage - too low for the space. I would have loved brighter ceiling, floor and table lamps. It really was dark - especially since we were on the first floor where people walked by and we felt we couldn't keep the blinds open. Also, we never used the outdoor shower. I thought we would, but the outdoor shower space just wasn't that appealing. There were chairs out there, but the pads were a little dirty and there was *no* view of anything nice. If they faced the mountains, we might have gone out. Also, the AC heatpump was right near the chairs and it was loud. So, all in all, it wasn't a very pleasant place to sit. Luckily, there were *always* plenty of lounge chairs by the pool and our room was a few feet from it, so it really was ok. It's just if I knew this ahead of time, I would have chosen a room upstairs where we could have looked out at the mountains and kept our blinds open during the day.

Loved every minute at the holiday house! Hated to leave. Planning another visit soon

Everything was perfect! From the minute we walked into the reception area and were greeted by a friendly staff member, to the beautiful blue and white decor throughout, to the delicious food and cocktails, lovely pool, bikes, lounge areas with fireplaces and all within walking distance to all of the shops.

Gorgeous and fun decor in a beautiful setting!

We absolutely loved the setting, the decor and all the special touches that make this a unique property. It felt very special to stay here and we enjoyed the pool, bikes and just taking in the scenery so close to downtown Palm Springs.

We realize the property is older and that is what contributes to how special it feels to be there. However, a little more attention to the comforts in the room would be ideal such as: our bed was very hard (we have travelled a lot recently and most hotels are putting more of a plush top on the bed), the room filled with light even during the night due to outdoor twinkle lights (black out shades or curtains would be great) and the air conditioning/heating system in our room was not working well and was vibrating the ceiling with a loud hum all night (not very restful). The room decor and beautiful bathroom were great!

Staff was incredible, breakfast was great. It's well decorated and the rooms/hotel are thoughtfully appointed. The location downtown is really convenient for restaurants and museums.

Chic, Cute and Perfect for Couples

Perfect boutique property right in the heart of Palm Springs. Attention to detail and kind staff made this stay really special. Lots of nice touches between the decor, amenities and size of the rooms. Next time I'll bring a significant other and not my mom, haha!

The front desk staff is also the restaurant wait staff so service was painfully slow for breakfast. Kitchen also took 25+ min to get our food-- SALADs. They apologized but didnt offer to comp any thing.

Holiday at the Holiday House!

Loved the staff! They were very friendly and very attentive! Eric was always so nice and helpful and always above and beyond to make sure guests were happy. Loved how comfortable the place was. The decorations were tastefully done. Great outdoor area to enjoy with everyone.

A bit on the pricey side. Lighting in the room, especially in the bathroom was poor. Carpet around bed was very uncomfortable on bare feet. Blinds did not keep light out.

Perfect Palm Springs Hotel

Everything was wonderful. We enjoyed delicious welcome spritzers in the beautiful blue lobby, which was equal parts modern art gallery and cozy sitting room. The room we had was perfectly situated so we had a view of the mountains, plus easy access to parking, the pool, the restaurant, everything. Our room was adorable and well-equipped with a huge comfy bed, sitting area, kitchenette, and a nice bathroom with GREAT amenities such as Cowshed and Marvis products. The pool area is beautiful, with grapefruit and other citrus trees all around, misters, shuffleboard, an ice cream cart, and even a sunscreen and towel station with a nice selection of magazines. It was also incredibly quiet-- hard to believe we were in the center of Palm Springs! The hotel staff could not have been better to us: they were all just as generous and accommodating as they were chilled out, which really helped us relax and unwind. The food was delicious-- perfectly sized breakfast selection, yummy appetizers by the pool, and delicious cocktails! They bring food/drink to you wherever you are on the property with a smile and are just attentive enough so that you feel neither ignored nor bothered. It was especially nice that they never gave us a bill, but charged things to the room automatically so we could come and go whenever. All in all, everything seemed effortlessly chic, cozy, and inviting. I can't see a reason to stay anywhere else in Palm Springs and we'll be back as soon as possible!

This was not their fault at all, but a wedding party managed to sneak in a toddler on our last day. The hotel clearly states about 100 times that it is for adults only-- obviously, someone still felt entitled enough to bring a 3 year old to disrupt others' relaxed, child-free stay. Thankfully the staff quickly, quietly, and pleasantly addressed this, and arranged for the selfish young family to stay somewhere else.
