The mattress was really uncomfortable Like it was sinking and old. I hardly slept. The menu of drinks in the pool wasn't updated I asked for dark cherry cider that I saw on the menu and I was told its not on the menu for a while.

Best romantic getaway

The staff is amazing, particularly the manager José. He is so friendly and made us feel at home. It is our 2nd stay at La Serena and he is one of the reasons why we came back. We love the fact that La Serena is so peaceful and quiet. It's the perfect place to relax. Also the private outdoor patio with bathtub and fireplace is so cute and romantic. It's such a special touch, it contributes immensely to making the room so charming. We will definitely be back again!

This is beautiful property! Villas are very nice, quiet, and comfortable just a short walk from the downtown Palm Springs. Small backyard patio with a fire pit and planting area was so nice to have. Pet friendly property which I appreciate.

Aesthetic getaway

Absolutely loved our stay at La Serena Villas. The cabanas by the pool are amazing, and free to use which was a nice perk. Every morning the staff dropped off a complimentary breakfast basket and we were greeted with a glass of champagne. Rooms were large and I loved the bathtub in the backyard. Can’t wait to stay again!

Loved this Beautiful hotel in gorgeous setting with best staff

Words can not express how much we loved La Serena. Right in the heart of downtown but down a quiet street. Walking distance to so many great restaurants and shops. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted like old friends. A welcome toast upon arrival in a beautiful lobby with the friendliest staff Truly an oasis. From the heated pool with lush surroundings. The sunbeds, plenty of umbrellas we never wanted to leave. Poolside restaurant was fabulous for breakfast and lunch. The service by the pool was phenomenal. Dinner is truly special with a lit up roof deck. Entering the rest of the property there is a hot tub and spa services. Each room is its own little villa. Ours was a king room with a porch swing out front and a back patio with a claw foot tub and a gas fire pit. The views are stunning with the San Jacinta mountains right behind the hotel. The bathroom is nice, great shower with luxurious amenities and there is even a bar area with a wine fridge. I loved getting breakfast basket with yogurt, muffins and fruit plus local Palm Springs dates was such a yummy treat. We had the best time riding the bikes they provided around the scenic town. All this was bliss but the real standout was the staff. The management team is so accessible and gets to know every guest. They truly thought of everything and went out of their way to make our little getaway perfect. Thank you Tim, Jose, Luke, Shantae, Kaitlyn and more! We can not wait to come again soon.

The room was nice. We also enjoyed the intimate ambiance of the hotel- it was perfect for a romantic get away. The restaurant/poolside staff was SO friendly.

The rooms could have had a fan to help with the heat. The AC could only get to 72F.

Wonderful, romantic and great location! Very comfortable and we loved the bathtub on private patio!

The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch and it was great to have options besides breads. We had either a small breakfast burrito or frittata with fresh berries.. delish!

It felt like the hot water heater must be across the street but there was always enough and it was good practice to just slow down a bit and wait 😊

Superb and relaxing stay at a beautiful little boutique hotel

Second stay at this property after trying a different one last year. So glad to have returned. Everything is taken care of and every detail is great. It's so relaxing and wonderful to have easy access to everything you need on one property - pool, spa, restaurant - so you can just chill. Service is exceptional, everyone is so great. Loved the food, service, and massages and facial at the spa.

Elegant, private, elevated boutique villa stay in the heart of the Tennis Club neighborhood

Beautiful and quiet property, elegant, and private. My villa had its own private patio with its own fire pit and outdoor bathtub! The indoor space was roomy and charmingly decorated/furnished. Loved the big bathroom suite and hot tub outside the spa very close by. And the breakfast delivery in the morning was delicious, thoughtful, and convenient! All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would love to stay again.

I don’t think there was a private parking lot (I parked on the street) in front of the hotel, and with how close the location is to busy areas and lots of people wandering around day and night, I would have liked that.
