This perfect small hotel has such character someone took great care in the decoration…loved the pool, hot tub and the seperate bathtub.. The location is perfect you can walk to everything…

Excellent Vacation at Talavera!

Quiet, private, peaceful! Spacious jacuzzi suites with kitchen, 3-5 steps to either of the 2 pools, lovely design and decor of facilities, location to restaurants and activities, pet friendly, great staff.

Our suite had no door between the living room and bedroom. No big deal though.

Facility itself was nice and clean but so inconvenient from check in and out..staff was horrible!

staff was horrible. very rude. Nobody was able to let me in upon arrival despite fact I received email confirming that staff knew and approved of the arrival time and would be there to greet me...had to call repeatedly, and when there was finally an answer, she was very rude. When I was finally able to get into the room, the code did not work so i was unable to leave the room and close the door so did not get to use the amenities. the next day i extended and they finally got a door code that worked and charged same card then an hour later i got a text that i needed to go to office with my id and card and that they closed at 6pm. I then got a text 20min later saying that they cancelled my room reservation and if i wanted it (i called back) staff said the only way i could reserve a room is if i went in to office in person and did it on site even though i made my reservation night before on a website that they advertise on she said no i could not use that site but when i checked the hotel was still listed. I was going to go back but screw that it was fathers day i had already left town and she was just so incredibly rude and not accommodating, and the texts that I received and emails were telling me different than what she was then saying on the phone. excuse my typos- whole point is staff was super rude, loved the hotel but will not be going back due to how inconvenient and unwelcoming the staff made the entire process. THEY NEED TO HIRE STAFF THAT IS AS NICE AND WELCOMING AS THE PROPERTY ITSELF!!HORRIBLE!

The location of the property was ideal because it was less than 2 blocks from Palm Springs’ Main Street. The gated property provided a serene and relaxing getaway.

Fabulous hideaway in a great location!

Gorgeous charming 1920’s property. Lovely courtyard layout. More lush landscaping than almost anywhere else in Palm Springs. Fabulous location. Each room has its own private hot tub spa, and in our room. (Gold) it was in our little private courtyard. It was too cold (January) for the 2pools, but we loved the fire pit. Room was gorgeous and comfy. We didn’t get a chance to use the free bikes but hopefully next time. Great place!
