It is a great place to stay. The only thing I encountered was I was double charged because they had a misunderstanding with booking so that was frustrated but they got it straightened out in 24 hours.

I recommend this hotel to anyone, esp. for those who prefer to avoid downtown Portland.

Breakfast was great. The service was excellent and the staff at breakfast was cheerful and extremely helpful. Our room was great. The location was perfect for exploring northwestern Oregon. When our rental car punked out on our last morning, the desk staff was extremely helpful assisting us to cope.

This is a great place to stay clean and safe, this is the second time here and will return.

I love the location close to my son's house and the other locations we visited, all the employees were very helpful and the breakfast was convenient and tasty.

we only had one hiccup when our keys didn't work late at night, the back door didn't open because the battery needed to be replaced, it was fixed the next morning.

I want to give a special shout-out to Leroy, the kitchen manager. He patiently showed me how to operate the waffle maker (what a great and unusual addition to a motel kitchen!) and showed me where everything was.

Please clean the hot water urns (in particular the one in the little nook that is kept open all the time) more often. Coffee drinkers may not notice because coffee has a strong flavor but as a tea drinker I noticed the taste was a bit off. I love my morning cup of tea but sadly had to pass on it.

Pleasant Stay

It meets expectations

I like how friendly the staff was and I liked how the soap/shampoo/bodywash was in dispensers and it was good quality. The pond in front is pretty. I liked the options available for breakfast.

Breakfast had a lot of options, but everything good kept running out and I had to stand and wait for several different items to be refilled; it seemed like they needed another 2 people to help refill stuff. For some reason the shower drain was unscrewed and sitting on the floor of the tub in the room. Not the nicest hotel I've ever been at but not the worst, pretty middle of the road; it provided what I needed.

Comfortable Beds

Front staff was very nice at check-in. Beds were comfortable. We had a family suite. 2 rooms with 3 queen beds. It was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good. Bacon, country potatoes, eggs, cereal, and muffins.

I have stayed at many hotels, including other Best Westerns. I understand having a set time to end breakfast. But I think this location is too set in ending breakfast exactly on time, closing the doors. I was there in plenty of time, but usually, there's a 5-10 minute grace period. Today was daylight savings time, so time sprung 1 hour ahead. I hope no one missed breakfast because of the time change. Customer service is important. Without customers, there is no job.

Very good value, Friendly helpful staff, quiet, nice neighborhood and town, clean, decent coffee and breakfast options in the morning. I would definitely stay again, hopefully longer next time

Exhaust fan in restroom was very thick with dust, wallpaper peeling away from walls and no privacy curtains on windows, you could close the sheer see through curtains but the others weren't even set up to close all the way
