Motel 6-Knoxville, TN

I just wish I read the reviews before booking. I read the reviews while I was already there and I agree with one reviewer who said that this is the dingiest place with the friendliest staff. For me it was dingy and some mean old lady at the front desk. She was giving me an attitude like right from the time I walked in to check in. I guess black pple are not welcome there. Especially with an accent. It doesn’t get worse than that. Then the place is so dirty, hallways flooding with pools of water, dirty walls, doors, y’all need to demolish that whole building and build it afresh like a modern hotel. It’s just pathetic. Period! And then when I’m just settling in my room a group of like 5 policemen come knocking my door so loudly and when I opened they asked me “where is Michael?” And I’m like ?????????????!!!!!!. I told them I’m a student visiting Knoxville for my school clinicals class. That was the shittiest shit ever. Like what???? I couldn’t even sleep peacefully and I woke up and left by 5.30am.

Not Getting the deal for the room I booked. The mattress has hard plastic wiring that took skin off my leg multiple times. The stress from no resolution and arguments with partner from this whole experience. The price of cancelation was forced on us. The wait on my refund. Not getting the whole amount I paid for the service since I never actually got the service. Trying to reach customer service to speak to an agent was almost impossible ,no phone number, had to get the number from a contact. Should have been a simple transaction, but was a disaster. I chose motel 6 because I had stayed without any problems in the past at this location.

Everything was disgusting 🤮 the room was dirty and full of insects and even the bed and the walls, I went out to notify the reception and they said that 15 minutes had already passed and that they would not do anything to correct it and they would not return the money either, I had to leave that place. I really wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The property was easy to find. The lobby was clean

I have 3 kids on this trip. One bring 16 months. Upon arriving, we are told the pool has been shut down for two years because of a part that the pool needs to operate. Booking.com did not disclose this information. The pictures on booking.com are nothing like the actual facility. We stayed in room 141. Within minutes, my toddler found Pennies lying all over the room. My husband found a pill lying next to the bed which we later identified as omeprazole. Looking deeper around the room to make sure there was nothing else that my toddler could find, behind one of the beds was a pile of molded dog vomit. No telling how long it has been there considering the mold was so fuzzy, we almost thought it was a dead rat. I went straight to the front desk to give them the pennies and the pill and showed them a picture of the monstrosity behind our bed. Still being check in day, he said there are no other rooms available but could send someone to clean it. No one came. Today is our last day of the two night stay and we have yet to see house keeping. No new towels, no new trash bags. No phone to call the front desk. Just filth. We have never stayed anywhere so slummy. Dogs barking from what seems like every room. No pool. No hot water in the only sink in the room. The mini fridge sounded like it was going to explode so we unplugged it so no fridge during our stay as well as holes in one of the comforters.

This was the only hotel with vacancy in the area.

wouldn't stay if you work nights...long term renters and family go bonkers every evening.

I was double charged for the room. Reservations through Booking.con and then charged by staff when I checked in. I tried calling both companies but told to talk with other company. $70+ extra charged for 1 room / 1 night. All other stays at Motel 6 with reservations with Booking.com during my trip from California to DC were fine except for the Knoxville stay.

The hotel was extremely dirty!!! There are no words that can describe how disgusted I was. Please avoid this hotel especially if you’re accompanied by children.

The beds were very loud and uncomfortable but it was nicely updated. Not enough parking either

It was pretty nice, pretty close to where we needed to be for business purposes. The room was clean. We were able to have our dog, no issues at all. We stayed on the bottom floor and our housekeepers were all really awesome especially the lady.

The bathroom tub has black mold on it and the toilet flusher didn't work half the time. There was no TV remote and no room phone. I understand that there is construction going on but rooms that get rented ought to be kept up to standard.
