Brilliant for Families - Loads to Do

Excellent hotel with loads to do for family/teenagers. Lovely pool, the jacuzzi was a bit tired though. There was a Basketball court, family friendly bar/restaurant with excellent food and a pool table. There was also an arcade. Apparently there was a free transport service into Knoxville, however the hotel had to much to do that we stayed there.

Spacious room, clean and comfortable. Hot shower great water pressure. Quiet. Restaurant and bar inside the hotel.

Booked this hotel for my daughter's 26th because it had a pool, hot tub and bar/restaurant. Unfortunately we were unable to enjoy the pool or hot tub due to the amount of people in the hotel. It was maxed out for children's football event. Wish we were notified by the hotel of such an event that was occurring. We would have reconsidered our stay. The pool was full of children and the hot tub was green and foamy. The restaurant and bar was supposed to be open until midnight but they were closed by 11:30. Disappointed.

The room was excellent, clean and comfortable! Shower was clean and roomy. Breakfast was good and hot.

1. In room Keurig brewed very weak, lukewarm coffee 2. Pool did not have enough chlorine and it was very small

Wonderful place to stay, just wish the pool area was a bit cleaner.

Clean, bathroom was stocked very well with toiletries, we checked in for a tournament in town and even with the long check in line the front desk was friendly and accommodating.

The pool floor had green water and the hot tub was green.

I did somehow get the rest I needed to finish my travels. Any the clerks where very accommodating.

The breakfast and location were perfect for my traveling needs. The made to order eggs was a great addition to breakfast.

I didn't like the alarm clock that went of @ 4:20am. That was not cool. Also, there was a near by car show that weekend and some unruly guest kept slamming the door next to us all night long. I know it's not the Hotels fault just disrespectful guest.

The floor in the room was absolutely filthy, the bed was extremely uncomfortable and to top it off, there was a piece of metal sticking out of the side of the bed and my husband cut his leg quite deep on it. Beware of this when you stay in the hotel. The staff member who checked us in was also pretty rude and unwelcoming.

Older property and the basketball court was closed. Court was the main thing my grandson was looking forward to. Cafe was closed for a private function so had to order out for food delivery.

I planned a stay at Holiday Inn Cedar Bluff from July 3rd 2025 to July 7 2025 for my family of 9. My nephews 4th birthday is July 3rd and my brothers birthday is July 4th. We got two rooms. Upon arrival I had two king suites but I down graded one of my rooms to a double queen room so I could be on the same floor as my family members. The hotel had us on different floors. My family and I checked in at 3:00 pm on July 3rd. Around 6:30 pm we wanted to take the kids to the pool to enjoy the kiddy pool and hot tub. There was 20-25 people surrounding the whole kiddy pool therefore my kids could not even enjoy the kiddy pool plus the hot tub was very small and could only fit maybe 4 adults comfortably. After going back to our room we ended up finding roaches in our bathroom of our hotel at 3 AM. My family of 9 packed all of our belonging and left immediately. We checked all our bags and suitcases in the parking lot before packing our cars. The staff member on shift felt terrible and contacted her operations manager about named Ally. Ally at 3:30 AM told her staff member she would be in at 8 am to handle my refund directly. I called at 11 am and Ally was not in, the staff contacted her and she said she had a family emergency and that I can call back at 1 PM and she will be in. I contacted Ally at 1:00 PM and she told me that booking.com never reached out to her via email or phone. I was on hold with booking.com at 3:30 AM when they called the hotel directly and spoke with the staff on shift at 3:30 AM. The staff told booking.com to call back in the morning when Ally would be in. Ally proceeded to tell me that booking.com does not have their correct information and will not update it and it’s been this way for years. I asked Ally for her updated information where she provided me the email of “[email protected]” as well as their phone number. I called booking.com again and they called Ally directly at the phone number. Booking.

I had reservations from Monday through Friday. After checking in on Monday I quickly realized I needed to cancel the rest of my stay due to work issues. I got not help from the staff but instead went through booking.com. The hotel never responded to our request to cancel the remain night despite multiple attempts. The wifi was unusably slow. The hotel is dated and marginally clean.

Never again will be stay here. Check in is at 3, our room wasn’t ready until 5:30. Ice machine doesn’t work, basketball court was closed for maintenance, food is really pricey at cafe (have better luck going to the restaurants across the street). The chair in our room had trash sticking out of the cushion. And if you have the “pleasure” as getting Precious as your check in\out clerk, be prepared for an attitude. I had questions about a hold on our card and her response was “have you never stayed at a hotel before”? Excuse me…. But this was one of the worst experiences for a hotel in Knoxville, save your money and go somewhere else.
