Absolutely nothing

I was given misinformation twice from front desk staff which impacted my stay.

I have know complaints regarding the property.

The area was in an upscale, diverse location near the water and close to the border of Lake Michigan.

Me and my friend called a few days before check-in to ask about incidentals and parking. When we notified customer service on the phone it was told that we didn’t have to worry about incidentals and not to worry about parking. For two days incidentals was $140 that was not calculated in my budget. Parking was 130 self parking and 140 if you valet for two days. What I didn’t like was the parking scam. In Chicago there’s nowhere on the street to really park to unload your belongings so you have to go into the parking structure that is hooked onto the hotel. Once you enter the parking structure, the camera takes a picture of your license plate and though it’s a very limited parking, you’re already on the clock no matter how much time is used. I parked my truck checked in dropped my belongings to my room and came back downstairs in less than 40 minutes and I owe the parking structure $39 after staff alerted me of a app after I went into the parking structure that would allow for me to pay for parking cheaper than at the front counter what also is crazy is that when you park it tells you to bring your ticket to the front desk with you All in all parking took up at least 2 1/2 hours of me and my friends time on our getaway Also the toilet wasn’t all the way clean either and I did go down and talk to management about it I alerted that as I lift the seat that it was not clean before we entered our room for the night I was going to take a picture of the toilet, but I didn’t feel it was necessary to post that, but I did talk to management.

Room smelled like mold and mildew. Was assigned a room on 11th floor on arrival, we had to change because of the bad smell. Then the new room we got was the same way but the smell wasn’t as bad. Poor room ventilation. Stinks!!! Felt uncomfortable the entire time

Location was ok.

Bed was extremely uncomfortable hard like a brick. No hot water, restaurant attached was overpriced and generally the room was dated.

On booking in, Jake on reception and through our stay was very helpful as were all the reception staff.

Internal bar was functional not friendly.

They have over charged my account significantly after check out even though I balance was clear and the account receipt was received. Very upsetting.

The property was a good location and clean

The sofa bed was terrible. I think they found the mattress on the side of the road and put in my room. I’m having back issues from it

This was my second stay there staff is friendly, Hotel is very clean rooms are nice with great views and has fittnes rooms and indoor swimming pool. Great location close to everywhere you need to go and the price of rooms is reasonable will be staying again when I come back to Chicago and would definitely recommend.

Trash cans can be a little bigger and have microwave in rooms

Older, small amount of mildew in bathtub, lighting was not adequate in vanity area

Carpet in my room was soaking wet. The sofa bed was impossible to sleep in, uncomfortable. Windows very dirty.

Front desk staff was friendly. The room was clean. The location was ideal -- very close to shopping and restaurants.

Our view was horrible. I requested a very high floor, which we did not get, and our view was looking directly at the Riu Hotel. I was very disappointed with that.

Room was amazing and location is unbeatable. The staff was also incredible and easy to work with.

Great walking location to al.ost everywhere but very close to Miracle Mile. Parking was right on premise.

The lighting in the bathroom area was very dim is the only thing I can comment on. My wife found dead it difficult to see when doing the makeup thingy.

The sink was draining so slowly and the faucet was so weak as well.the pillows are so flat .

Staff were amazing! Good location and rooms were spacious.

I thought the hotel had two major reasons for staying there: the staff and the location. The staff was always helpful, very friendly and available. This hotel is easily accessible to rideshare and is very close to Michigan Avenue bus lines. It's a walk-able city so coffee shops, restaurants, bakeries and some sites were easily reachable on foot. The hotel offers amenities such as an indoor pool, exercise room and on site restaurant. We didn't visit the restaurant but used the other two and were satisfied. The rooms are large which is very nice if you're sharing with a friend or family member. The bathrooms are also nicely sized.

I'm not a fan of every other day cleaning nor am I a fan of communal shampoo/conditioner/body wash both of which this hotel has instituted. My room door lock didn't always 'catch' and the thermostat was not working properly. The room was hot.

Excellent location in downtown core, walking distance to almost all tourist spots. Valet parking $40/24 hrs offsite (without accessing car) or about $65 if you want in and out. Room is spacious, clean just like the pictures, definitely worth the money.
