The location was good. The hotel room was very spacious

One elevator was broken apparently has been broken for over three weeks. In our room: the bathtub has alot of rusted water stains and under the sink there was so much dust. The breakfast was ok not downtown Chicago quality.

Overall good but staffing issues caused major issues.

I loved the made to order breakfast and free drink reception. We also got a credit for the restraunt. The location is good and the rooms were large and wonderful. The lobby is beautiful.

The blanket in one room was dirty and they didn't have a clean one to replace it. The other room didn't even have a blanket. We were locked out of our second room until 10pm because the key didn't work. The security had multiple emergencies and couldn't get us into our room. The reception staff did not believe us that this happened and said she would have to check the security footage.

The breakfast was fair, eggs were so thin. If you dont get down early you are going to wait awhile. They charge you a resort fee which is a joke. They also charge an additional 25 dollars a day for something else. They give you a gift card for it. But you can't use it for room service.

Location is great. And love the suite style of rooms. Great value too - except for parking at $65/day.

Room - specifically bathroom - show wear and tear. And door to bedroom peculiarly swung into path from right side of bed - had to partially close to go around it to leave room.

Super loud. Elevator broke down. It was not very clean. Showers had no shampoo and even after asking it was never refilled.

Just ok

Location was walking distance to many things we did. Breakfast was good. Actually made to order on weekdays . There is an extra charge when booking they don’t tell you about for that and wifi in your bill. So breakfast is “free” but you paid for it upfront .

Dirty dishes sat in the hall for over two days. (not ours other rooms) We repeatedly told staff and cleaning crews and no one took accountability for it. We told at least 5 different people about the issue . It wasn’t until we came across a management personnel that it magically got picked up. But by this time people had knocked over the plates and spilled the glass. That mess never got cleaned during our 4day stay . They also only had two working elevators for a 17 floor hotel . This made coming and going a major ordeal as we were on the 14th floor with a stroller and wheelchair so no using steps . That alone would cause me to not stay there again .

Not what it used to be

The hotel was conveniently located and easy to get to. The staff were lovely and super helpful.

The breakfast area was not clean. It was just a mess to be honest with spilt food everywhere. There was only one elevator working which made it so hard to get up and down to our room with long lines waiting for the elevator at many tunes during the day.

It was a good stay

Breakfast was great.

Bathroom door paneling was coming off. It had to be fixed upon arrival. Shower was dirty with soap residue. One elevator was broken making the wait from 10-20 minutes leaving several walking down 12 flights of stairs or more. Fireplace in lobby doesn't actually work which would have been amazing. We tried to use our $25 credit at the lounge unfortunately the front desk did not tell us we couldn't use them in one day... which honestly doesn't make a difference if we stayed more than one day. If we paid the fee we should get the credit. That was not the case.

2 out of the 4 elevators were broke. Room was very dirty, shower had brown stains, few plugs were not working. Beds were not comfortable. Dirty room is my biggest complaint.

Staff was friendly and location was not as convenient as expected.

The meal was what I expected for a buffet style meal. The location was near Michigan Avenue.

We didn't like to cross the street and go up 2 flight of stairs to get to street level with Michigan Avenue. That was hard for my Wife that has leg injuries.

Elevator Hell

Location was great. Staff was great

Half of the elevators were out of order. Many had to walk up and down the crowded stairways. Definitely a fire trap. Some man was banging on his door from 4 am to 5 am trying to get in his room. Security never came to talk to him.....insane!! 😔

the view from the 11th floor was excellent friendly and responsive staff

the quality of the breakfast there isn't a comfortable chair to sit in in the room and the sleeper couch certainly isn't worth sitting on room was cold and we had to call the desk to get an engineer to show us how to warm the room (hey, maybe a sign would be helpful) the quality of the bath/soap products/hidden and difficult to access toilet paper

My room was never cleaned during my entire stay. I was gone most of the day Saturday and some of Sunday, but no cleaning attempt was made. Like, knock on the door, I’ll take a walk to let them do that. Didn’t run out of towels, but I’m just one person.

Excellent hotel in a great location

Great location close to the river and magnificent mile. We loved the suite room and the city view, room was clean and very comfortable. We loved the breakfast, especially the made to order breakfast station. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of a stay in Chicago downtown.

The service was excellent in the hotel- every employee was courteous.

The breakfast was ok. Somewhat disappointing in that they ran out of items: ketchup, bananas, sausage, truffles. The parking garage is terrifying- young people late teens & 20's slow rolling in the garage, smoking weed, drinking, loud music and stopping to ask questions while they are casing cars and the people. No security. The cost to park was exorbitant and ridiculously high compared to other places esp given the the above mentioned lack of safety measures.

Great location and amenities. Comfortable and clean rooms and spaces- excellent for a group. Parking on site and the ability to drive up to drop off and pick up out of the elements was great. Good breakfast and the bar area was nice and lots of TVs and space to hang out.

The destination fee was a little confusing and we ended up losing our $25 ($50 since we had 2 rooms) the first night since I didn’t really look into it and we got there late. Just felt like an additional unnecessary fee in my opinion.

Housekeeping didn't refill the body wash bottles. The cook’s assistant at breakfast behaved despotically. I called the lobby to remind them that the bottles needed refilling, and they still didn't do it.
