Location
Pull out mattress in the couch was so bad you could feel every single spring. We requested more pillows and they were never brought. Pool was closed and we were not notified upon check in. Then they reopened the pool but what’s the point of the broken hot tub???

It was very clean and the night desk lady was super sweet and I just love her! Don’t remember her name ( sweet older woman) but she deserves a raise!
Loved everything except the pillows were too soft. When you lay on them, your head goes straight to the bed. Everything else was great!!

Tracy was so kind the evening of our stay. I usually know amenities and properties far before we travel but on this unexpected trip I had a lot of last minute questions and she had the patience and answers for all of it. All of the staff we interacted with were incredible! That's refreshing. Other pros, the king suite gives a nice privacy option and breakfast is better than good enough!!
The parking lot at this location is merged with multiple hotels and the spots are awkward. I parked next to a vehicle with flat tires and a rotten smell. I assume people live at the motel near the property. Only the smell bothered me, and it had zero impact on our safety or stay, but it is probably off putting to others.

We arrived to find out there was no pool, which was not indicated online or anywhere on our booking details. We had brought our children to stay and use the pool so we could make it to an appointment at Riley’s the next morning. The front desk discussed this, and after reviewing the websites lack of notice about the pool, advised that they would refund my stay so that we could find another hotel with pool services. They stated the manager would approve the refund on the next business day and gave me a confirmation #. When I called later, I was told by the “assistant manager acting as the manager because she was out on bedrest” she said she would absolutely not refund it and asked for a description of the front desk workers, then told me nobody by that description works here. She raised her voice with me and continued to belittle my complaint suggesting that I was lying about the description of the workers? I am completely baffled by the unprofessionalism I encountered. I remained pleasant and simply stated the exact scenario that happened and this assistant manager because hateful and just…. Dismissed me. I’m still just speechless as to her continuing to insist “nobody works here by that description” as if that was even relevant, I hadn’t filed a complaint against either of them. I would have just stayed the night without the pool had I not been assured my stay would be refunded. Now I am out the cost of TWO hotels and feeling even worse after my conversation with this person, who could not even direct me to where I could speak to literally anyone more respectful than herself.

We really liked that the room was newly remodeled! I really liked the colors and that there is no carpet. I liked that I could get ready at the sink while my sister took a shower and vice versa.
The room that the toilet and shower are in is really too small. If either of us was a larger person, the room would be too small. The microwave door seemed to stick as it was hard to open.

They were remodeling while we were there. The room was nice but the only reason that i booked a $200+ room with them is because they stated the rooms have jacuzzi tubs. They did NOT. Apparently all tubs were removed during remodeling and replaced with showers. The breakfast was mediocre at best. Served cold bagels and raw bread with no way to heat up or toast them. The staff was friendly but I would have booked elsewhere for much less had I known about the lack of tubs. Also, the room was lacking simple things like a coffee table in front of the couch. Why have a huge room with a kitchenette but no where to sit and eat?

The bed wasn’t very comfortable and the parking lot as horrible if you didn’t park early. I didn’t like that the parking lot was shared with the Motel 6 because there were some shady people at the Motel 6 just hanging in the parking lot

I paid extra for a king bed and got two queens. We got there at about 1pm and was told our room wouldn’t be ready for another 2 hours!!! And our concert started soon! Then once in the room there was a big puddle of who knows what on the carpet. There were drinks and food in the tiny fridge and makeup and stains all over the towels.

At first was excited to celebrate 40yrs with my wonderful wife glad to have booked a room that was to have amenities and a close location to our planned event and much needed alone time.
Room was rough around the edges upon arrival the tub was very dingy and counter top was also broken down on 1 side (still tried to stay positive) after cleaning out the tub and filling it up found out it didn't work contacted hotel desk to see about another room none available was going to leave told by desk associate we would receive a refund and go ahead and stay on Them for free.. next morning new person at desk says they have no record or notes on the room I've heard nothing and received zero refund... Very upsetting being let down by Holiday Inn Express and treated as if satisfaction wasn't important at a premium rate . Will NOT ever go back
