Location. It is part of san jose convention center. Right on downtown
It is very expensive for such a basic looking hotel. Even the dog fee came about to be $85 with all the additional fees and

The property was great - the staff was amazing - the location was great - grass for the animals - allowed pets - great stay all in all, and close to the stadium.
It said stadium view but the hotel doesn’t sit straight so not really -
There was an insane whistle under the door ( 320 ) loud! Only room that did it!
Parking was insane on game day just for guests -
They were under construction and the front door was super hard to find, and you had to walk all the way around just to bring in your luggage.

the facilites were clean and the breakfast was fine.
The facilities and location was perfect except for the fact tthat there were very nisy pedestrians and people hanging out near the hotel making a lot of noise. We were concerned for the safety of our cars and did not want to fenture outside at night.

We were not informed about the full scope of the construction, which significantly disrupted our experience. Our room was overlooked for cleaning and lacked replenished toiletries throughout our stay. Additionally, the only snack counter was closed for most of the day, leaving us with limited options.

Near stadium. Good staff.
Renovated room didn’t have a working telephone. It was noisy with whistling air noise keeping us awake. Half the bed was dusty. New bathroom sliding doors don’t lock. Gym was token, not nearly enough variety of exercise equipment. Pool was small and shared with children.

The Newly renovated rooms we’re great and the staff was very helpful and professional.
Unfortunately with the Hotel still going through renovations. its lacked some of the features.

Had a room with a view to Great America’s fireworks. Real big picture window. Beds are real comfortable. Close walk to Great America & a Starbucks in the lobby.
There wasn’t a microwave in the room. Had to go to the lobby to warm up some food.
1.0 / 10.0
The location being in close proximity to the stadium, Great America, and within easy access to the tram into downtown, was great. Unfortunately nowhere reasonably priced to eat within close walking distance, but if you are comfortable walking more than a mile, there are a few options.
The air conditioner in the room wouldn't bring the temperature below °78 degrees. It was hotter inside the room than it even was outside in the summer. It was stifling, and the window cannot be opened.
My partner and I called the front desk, asking maintenance to come up and take a look at the AC, and maintenance told us the AC system hadn't been replaced in 25 years, and this was the coolest we'd get.
I have medical conditions that are exacerbated by heat, so I went out of my way to stay at the Hilton since I thought they were more reputable and would certainly have well maintained amenities, but I was gravely mistaken.
The staff hunted down a box fan for us to use at night, which is the only thing that kept me from getting heat stroke in my room. I felt like I was staying at a cheap hostel in Europe, but with a much bigger price tag. I did not sleep well for any of the four nights I stayed at this hotel, due to the heat and other issues.
In addition to the AC issue, our room smelled strongly of chemicals and sawdust. This is likely due to the renovations they are currently doing in the building. But the smell was strong enough to concern me as to what dangerous substance I might be inhaling.
The down pillows in this hotel become so flat that it is like using sheets of cardstock under your head. I had to use six pillows, and I still found them uncomfortable. However, this is a matter of opinion, and other people may love down filled pillows. I additionally found that the pillows exacerbated the temperature issue further, as they appeared to trap heat.
The wifi provided at the hotel is abysmally slow. When you log in, two options are offered. One being a fast speed for club members of the hotel's paid membership, or a slow speed for everyone else. I do not pay for a Hilton Honors membership, so I suppose the premium cost of my stay only entitles me to super slow internet speed.

Mostly convince of location lots of parking. And all staff was very friendly.
I wish it had room service. I love to just chill in the morning with a good hot breakfast and an outside view of the area.

Location to Great America and Levi’s Stadium great. Staff friendly and kind. The mini suite design layout is GREAT.
Realize renovations in progress but sadly we got the old used room for new room prices! Grungy torn sofa sleeper and chairs. No M/W. No in house sundry store and none close by. Needed bandaids and had to drive all over to find a store nearby pool really small and not actually indoors at all. Bar and restaurant closed until late day. No room service or restaurants close to supplement lack of amenities in hotel.

Very nice hotel. Perfect location for the stadium. If you’re looking for a place near everything this is the perfect hotel to stay at!!
The bedrooms need more mirrors. It was just two girls in my room and trying to get ready with not floor length mirror or even just another mirror besides the bathroom was very difficult.

Great access to Levi Stadium.
The shower head was cheap and had different settings which I tried to adjust flow and it wasn’t great. The lighting was lacking in restroom. For a 1,000 bucks a night you are defiantly paying for convenience to stadium.

Hilton Santa Clara is a great hotel to stay at while visiting Great America and/or Levi Stadium. We were warmly greeted by Dorthy at the front desk, who was very helpful and upgraded our room to have a view. There was plenty of parking and it was an easy walk to and from Great America. We enjoyed having dinner in the restaurant bar. The Hilton burgers were excellent and there were quite a few good beers on tap. My kiddo loved the grilled cheese & French fries with a Shirley Temple. We also enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub that was open late. The room was comfortable and clean, with cushions below the elevated window. Currently, the hotel is going through a major remodel. The construction work did not impact our stay. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet and were very impressed with the service. We will definitely return to the Hilton next time we are in Santa Clara.

The property was OK, but I had selected Hilton because I have a gold card and assumed I would get some benefits, only to be told upon arrival that benefits are not awarded when booking through third parties.
Nobody made this clear when booking.
Not awarding benefits for loyalty card holders because I booked through Booking.com.
I ended up with a much smaller than expected room to squeeze myself, my wife and our 18 year old son into.

The proximity to Levi stadium is amazing. We went for a concert and it was worth spending the money to stay there. The staff was wonderful, and we liked the small coffee cafe onsite.
Nothing.

We love the friendly staff and the extremely convenient location to Great America. The pool and spa are nice after a long day and the gym is small but perfect to get in that easy workout. We also love the dinner menu - so good! Room was perfect usually nice queen size beds and view of the Stadium was a plus.
Our room smelled like cigarettes this time. With the ongoing renovations it was dirty and kind of noisy but not too bad. The beds are also in need of being replaced. Saggy and not firm. It was muggy inside the room so we had to run the AC to help with that.
