Staff were always friendly and greeted us during our stay. Rooms were comfortable but the air conditioner was VERY loud. Maybe an upgrade to newer one could be on the list of renos. We travelled from Powell River and was happy to hear we could check in early as we were exhausted from the drive to Vancouver.
Only disappointment was when my husband went to the front desk to ask if there was a wine bottle opener we could access, front desk just told us to go try the restaurant. We didn't even know where that was and just went out and bought one. We felt weird going to find the restaurant and asking to borrow a wine bottle opener.

Room was clean, bathroom recently renovated, very comfortable bed and pillows.
Noise from people partying on Davie St was overwhelming on Friday and Saturday nights. Hotel needs new sealed windows for better soundproofing.
