The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious compared with other hotels that I have stayed in. The room was clean.

Decent, centrally located hotel, but a miss with construction and noise.

Good location near Stanley Park and many restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful, from check-in to relocating us to a different room. Good views of the city with big windows.

There was construction that you could hear as many as 10 floors away. Also, all rooms are clustered around a central elevator shaft, and you can hear the whirring of the elevator in the rooms. It's also a bit dated.

I travelled with my son to celebrate his 13th birthday and he was so pleased.

I was on the 12th floor with a perfect view. I could see Canada Place when it lights up. This is our second time at the Blu Horizon and I can tell you, its worth it. Very central and has EVERYTHING you need in walking distance.

Safe and walkable location, spacious room, great view

Chose this hotel for its location and price, its corner rooms with balconies and mostly positive reviews online. We stayed in a Superior Two Queen Room with Balcony on the 26th floor for 8 nights (Sep 20-28). Spacious room with great view. Room features worth mentioning: comfortable beds, multiple pillows (2 soft , 2 firm), sofa, round table with 2 chairs, USB charging station, enough power sockets for electronic devices. Bathroom has walk-in shower with dual shower heads. Our room (2602) was far from the elevator and we were never bothered by hallway noise. All 3 hotel elevators require key card tap to access guest floors. Bottle refilling station and microwave oven available for guest use in the lobby. Hotel located along pedestrian-friendly Robson St. Pay parking lot located right next to the hotel but we did not rent a car so cannot comment. We took Canada Line from YVR Airport, got off at Vancouver City Centre Station and walked less than 1km to the hotel with our luggage. We mostly walked to nearby attractions and restaurants and took transit to those a bit further away. We felt generally safe in the area. Pleasant and accommodating front desk. Daily housekeeping. Nice and proactive hotel staff. We availed of luggage storage before check-in and after checkout.

It was an expensive stay but price was still competitive compared with other downtown hotels. Room air conditioner was a bit noisy but tolerable. No microwave oven in room but not a deal breaker.

Aircon noise sounded like a tractor in the room! Bathroom was really small. Pillows were too hard and too thick - there were not options available.

The isolation is a bit lackluster, but it was not a problem during the night, and they provide earplug on demand.
