A good place to rejuvenate/prepare for a long journey.

The location and size of the rooms allowed for a comfortable stay. The shuttle service to downtown and the hockey was an added bonus.

Unfortunately the restaurants were not open and the location isn’t necessarily easily accessible to restaurants.

Great value for money!

Location was fantastic- so convenient that we could walk to most places within 20 minutes. Hotel was clean, staff were very friendly. Very nice bathroom.

A bit noisy with the busy road right beside. Pillows a bit uncomfortable. Early morning construction/renovations occurred on the floor above us (ruined the atmosphere a bit).

The location is fantastic. Generally staff were very friendly and kind.

The elevators were slow, often riding with staff who had big carts full of linens which is fine but meant scrunching out of the way as the cabs were quite small. There was a hole in my sheets, not sure what from, the duvet was worn out and the corner ripped at the end when making the bed. On the 8th floor under the bar, you could hear chairs moving and scraping all night. There was a light night fire alarm, no communication from the hotel as to when was okay to go back in, what was going on.

Expensive and below 4-star standards

The hotel is conveniently located, relatively close to several lively shopping streets (ca. 800m). Breakfast is tasty, but it’s à la carte and includes only one drink.

The family room has two queen beds but is quite small. In the hallway, there were areas where the wallpaper was torn off. Each bed comes with only one duvet. At breakfast, you can only order one drink — meaning you can’t have both a coffee and a juice. The coffee is served well before the food, so by the time the meal arrives, the coffee is already cold. I tried asking for the coffee to come with the food the next day, but then the food arrived first and the coffee took so long that the food was cold instead. Parking is valet-only, which is inconvenient because you have to ask for your car every time, and it’s not included in the room rate — the daily fee is quite expensive. Overall, I wouldn’t choose this hotel again.

Great stay in the heart of downtown Vancouver

This was our second stay at the Parker and it will definitely be our go to when we are in town. They offer shuttle service to Roger’s arena which was perfect as we were in town for a UFC fight. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was delicious and the room had an amazing view

1) The shuttle wasn’t available after 4:30 so we had to uber back to the hotel. 2) The jacuzzi was not operational

Relaxing and comfortable.

Loved the position. Staff were very helpful and allowed us an early check in. Walking distance to ferry to Granville Island. Restaurants and rooftop bar on premises.

Our suite was number 818 and we found it noisy late in the night with the rooftop bar being on the floor above us - sounded like chairs being scraped across the floor. There was a scraping noise until approximately 1.00am.

The staff were lovely, and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean. Beds are very comfortable.

There was minimal drink options for the breakfast included in our package, and the menu is relatively limited. The rooms could do with the addition of some basic amenities, for example, a bottle opener.

Overpriced for no frills treatment and surprise add ons

Location and room size

At every turn they are trying to get more money from you. Parking for guests should be free. Breakfast was below average. If you wanted a coffee and a juice you would be charged extra as only one or the other was included. The coffee was terrible no milk alternatives offered. At checkout we had to contest multiple charges. They did take them off but they shouldn’t have been on in the first place!

Good location but avoid breakfast and expect poor wifi!

Hotel in good location. Staff were happy to help, particularly on the concierge desk. Liked the L’Occitane products in the bathroom.

Breakfast was a disaster best avoided. On first morning, we were advised breakfast was on 9th floor instead of usual 2nd floor. We turned up at 8:20am and realised it wasn’t a self service buffet but table service with a limited menu. We had a tour guide booked other side of town at 10am so had to abandon at 9:40am, having only received part of our order by this point. (Thanking the chauffeur of the hotel service car who dashed us across town that morning and we just caught our guide!) I spoke to reception later and agreed a refund on breakfast that morning (although it seemed begrudged the offer was appreciated) with an assurance it would be better next day. It wasn’t. We still waited an hour for breakfast - definitely not worth it. One cup of tea or coffee (really??) plus 1 choice from limited menu. As a vegetarian I was limited to granola, honey and yogurt - no sign of honey and perhaps a spoonful of granola. On 3rd morning, hotel did do a takeaway breakfast for us, as breakfast isn’t served before 7:30am and our flight was early, so that was appreciated. The WiFi was an issue. We were on 7th floor and WiFi was terrible, dropping constantly. My teenager was not impressed! I mentioned this at desk and both times was told it was fine, no other complaints, but we hadn’t had this issue in any of the other 5 hotels we’d stayed at on our journey. Our room also had a window that was broken - hinge broken so it didn’t close properly, which we quickly noticed on first night and had a poor sleep due to the noise. They fixed this quickly the next day, after we reported it. It is next to busy road though so you’re always going to experience some noise.

A great base for a trip to Vancouver

This was a lovely hotel with fantastic staff with a wonderful roof terrace. The hotel was easy to get to from the airport (£15 uber) and we could walk to the Skytrain for sightseeing. Despite being in a busy part of town the rooms were quiet. We were especially pleased with the service on our checkout day when the hotel looked after our luggage and then gave us a lift to the skytrain. The staff were excellent. I would recommend this hotel for a good value, friendly and well appointed hotel, especially if you arrive early enough in the evening to enjoy the heated roof terrace for cocktails!

nothing - we really liked this hotel and would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Vancouver. If we were being really picky - there was no kettle and as Brits we do like to make a cup of tea! there was plenty of coffee including a number of choices.

Bathrooms need grab bars to make using the tub/shower safer and easier. Otherwise perfect hotel!

For a boutique hotel experience, especially during a special trip, we expected better communication

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of our honeymoon. The check-in experience was great — the staff member was very friendly and even showed us the room beforehand because of nearby construction noise. However, a few things made our stay quite disappointing.

The hotel also offers complimentary bikes, but the one we borrowed had no brakes and was in very poor condition. The lock was flimsy, and unfortunately, the bike was stolen while we were out for a meal. We informed the front desk and were told we would be contacted by email — but no one ever followed up. Later, we found that 300 CAD had been charged to our credit card without notice or explanation.

Great Location

The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and the staff were exceptionally helpful and attentive! The hotel is walking distance to great restaurants, the seawall (where we took a little ferry to Granville island), Robson Street and everything we wanted to see!
