just old and outdated. is adjacent to a nightclub and you can hear it, even on the 5th floor. it couldve been worse. but i likely wouldnt stay here again. staff was very friendly though.

Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby! Bed was comfy, if you're on the front side of the building I think the street noise and club nearby might be quite loud, but we were in the second tower back and the noise was audible but wasn't disruptive. Easy to walk or Uber to many locations.

Floor in bathroom was sticky. Toilet kept running, room was very small for the price. No fridge, vending machines beverages were very warm. Breakfast buffet was cold. Ordering food in the evening there was a beetle crawling on the bar of the restaurant.

Everything about the hotel was excellent. However, the local activity around the building was not inviting. It is not in a neighborhood where you would want to walk around.

Our room shared a wall with a club - the walls reverberated with the club music until 3:30am. The floors, including the carpet, were sticky on your feet, and the pull out couch mattress was so thin, it felt like you were laying directly on the springs. On top of that the room smelled of stale smoke. It was one of the worst rooms I’ve ever stayed in. And top of that, we paid $1000 for the experience. The concierge was helpful in switching us to a different room that was less noisy and cleaner, and provided complementary breakfast vouchers. However, it still feels really unfortunate to have paid that much money for a stay that was mediocre at best.

People were kind and the service was good. The building is very old and I didn’t like the area. Granville is a noisy street and there are lots of restaurants and bars near the hotel, I think it isn’t the place for a family vacation.

It's a good location, with a cool bar (The Morrisey) attached, but the rates are outrageous for some real run-down, small rooms.

The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. The parking situation was odd, they required offsite parking so you had to turn in your keys over night. The building was old, but you couldnt tell until you got on the elevators becuae the lobby was so nice and apparently recently renovated. Once we got off the elevators it looked and felt like we were in a different building, the pipes in rooms squeeked and groaned. The ac unit didnt do much for the constant humidity in the entire building. There was a club next door which you could hear through the wall all the way on the 5th floor. They had free breakfast vouchers for the place next door eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, cereal, toast, juice and coffee. They also provided meal coupons to tequila kitchen across the street and the white spot down the block, both were really good. The hotel is in great walking distance from much downtowns night life.

This place is outdated, in need of maintenance, and dingy. There is a lack of electrical outlets in the rooms, the bathroom exhaust fan bearings were going out howling, the ac fan bearings were going out and howling, dirty looking carpet, and the music from the nightclub next door is way too loud. I can’t recommend this place. It’s an overpriced stay in a part of town filled slumped over street zombies.

Hotel is above a night club. Staff were great. Rooms were nice. Hotel is older but clean. Coffee at front lobby was great. No fridge in room. Comfortable and clean but small. Opening window in bathroom but not bedroom. No bathroom fan. Air conditioner loud. Food at attached pub was poor. Will stay again, but will plan accordingly.

Charged $26 for overnight parking beside the building where they’re passed out and shooting drugs and not going to sleep very well knowing our car is parked out there in the open. The hotel is old but it’s nice and clean enough. Check in was fast and easy. Rooms small but price was right (until the $26 added pkg fee). Secure pkg Id be happy to pay.

Perfect stop for our first night in Canada. The room was quiet and ths beds were very comfy. We were close to Stanley Park and had a great walk around the local area. The staff were friendly and helpful and we were able to check-in on arrival, even though we were a little early.

It was a good hotel for the price. You can tell it was an older hotel and the mattresses could use a change. The staff though was great and what made the stay fun. The breakfast at a discount is ok but was not as good as what you can get in the area for sure. The discount for breakfast is nice though. Just a bit underwhelming and over cooked but not bad.
