Barclay House Bed and Breakfast

We used the Barclay House as our home base during 3 days exploring Vancouver. This traditional B&B is for you if you enjoy good service, a beautiful home, and sumptuous breakfasts in a location within easy walking distance of the many restaurants and shops in the Robson neighborhood. Bus service to other areas of Vancouver are only a 5 minute walk away. Many thanks to Dennis for maintaining this traditional B&B experience and making it available to travelers to Vancouver.

Good location, easy to walk to main street. The host was helpful in ordering us a taxi.

Finding an old t-shirt down the bottom of our bed when we got in did not make for a good start to our stay! The sheets did seem clean and we were assured they were. We would have preferred a choice of cereal, fruit and cooked breakfast instead of just being given one option. The shower was over the bath was very old school; having to make sure all the curtains were in the bath was rather annoying. The Room was a strange configuration and had a corridor to the toilet and bathroom where we had to leave our suitcases as the room with the bed in was rather small. The bedroom had a lock but the corridor didn't.
