Check in was seamless and easy and the staff were really frindly.

As a family traveling together, we chose this place as one of the few hotels offering a shared space accommodating 6 persons. This claim turned out to be far from the truth. What was advertised as a Two Queen Bed Apartment that "sleeps 6 persons" turned out to be more like a two double bed suite that sleeps no more than 4 persons - and not very conveniently either. The bed size was definitely smaller than a standard queen bed; you couldn't even fit a toddler between two adults. Even with small kids, this made for very difficult and uncomfortable sleep arrangements.

Our room was dirty, and our bed sheets were covered in blood stained sheets. When I spoke to staff and asked for a manager, they were never available. When I finally spoke to the manager, she tried gaslighting me the entire time. She’s arguably the worst hotel representative I have ever met. We have travelled extensively around North America, and this was by far our worst experience ever! She should be fired and never allowed to work in hospitality again. But she did us a “favour” and didn’t charge us for parking! What a joke.

Lovely and friendly staff; nice room, comfy beds. Nice upgrades to bathroom with rain showerhead offering great water flow. Lots of free options on the TV with HULU, Disney +, Netflix. Great neighborhood with lots of food options. Full kitchen is great for longer stay travelers. Didn't like extra charge to use the stove/oven and extra charge if you didn't wash any dishes but we didn't use those amenities. Full fridge to store food was nice. Parking options were nice to have, especially staying in downtown Vancouver. Close to Stanley Park, which is where our event was - that was a bonus.

Nope it wasn't 10 dollars a load the kitchen cupboards were locked if you wanted to use the stove 25 dollars a fay pets 29 dollars a day parking 39 dollars a day also a pajamas was stolen from my suit case but how does one prove it

The staff was very friendly. The property is also very secure. I liked the double windows. There are only 4 rooms per floor. Nice locating on the West End of Vancouver. What I didn't like was that there was a price for anything other than the room rate. If you wanted to use the kitchen facilities, it was an extra cost. There was even a keylock for the cabinet that had the dishes. If you used anything in the kitchen like cups, etc, it was an extra cost. They even made it known that there was a cost if you took the air conditioning remote. I overheard one guest who was taking a friend up to his room & the front desk person charged him for that & took her ID. I felt like the song in Les Miz & was going to be charged extra for the lice & mice. I did have a basis for comparison because the next night I went to a similar property up 3 blocks that was totally different in a better way.

Friendly staff. Good location with a bus stop nearby. Poor value for the money. The pictures on the internet were not an accurate reflection of the room. The main picture that you first see on the internet is nothing like the room. The main picture showed a large balcony with a table and 2 chairs. Our balcony wouldn’t take 2 chairs. The cupboards in the kitchenette were sticky.

Staff ripped me off. Doesn't say anywhere in their policy that they would charge $500 for a damage deposit so when I arrived I was only expect to pay a hundred and they said it was $500 so then I couldn't rent my room and they wouldn't refund me my money so I was out and about $300 they scammed me and we're very rude about it so I just reported it to my credit company and said I didn't make the purchase tell me where keep profiled me that's where she was charging me $500 or not $100 like everybody else

The room was nice. TV was set to a channel with a beautiful autumn setting and playing soft jazz, plus there was a calming fragrance in the room. Overall our first impression was a feeling of relaxation. Room had mini fridge, stove top, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, electric kettle and a safe. Room and bathroom were clean and bed was comfortable. My wife and I are a bit snobby so when we walked up to the bldg we were a little worried as we noticed it looked a little tired…just ignore it. It is not a reflection of the room or the fantastic staff. Comparing this hotel with the outrageously overpriced hotels in DT Vancouver I would recommend this property as long as it holds its value and its competitive pricing (paid 30% less than a hotel 1 block up the street). Improvement Suggestions: - Pillows were adequate but thin. Offer plusher options; - TV is off-centre to bed. Mount TV with movable bracket to allow better viewing; - Stove trays are wrapped in tin-foil. Not a good look, maybe use foil trays or replace the metal ones as needed. Hotel is close to shopping (both high end and basic needs), short walk to Robson St shopping, including jewellery (my wife told me to say that), close to Coal Harbour, Stanley Park and First Beach. We took the Skytrain from the airport and is only a 15min walk from the Burrard St. City Centre Station. My wife and I travel often and without hesitation would stay here again.

The hotel is very accessible and convenient. There are many dining options in the area, and some are open 24 hours, which is great. There’s a bus stop near the hotel if you’re tired from walking back and forth from downtown. What I like most is that you can leave your luggage before check-in if you arrive early and want to explore. However, everything has a fee. I asked if we could do an early check-in, and they said it costs $29. I also asked if they provide slippers in the room since we didn't bring any, and the floor was cold. There is a charge of $5 for slippers. Anyway, if you're just looking for a place to sleep and leave your luggage, it's okay.

This is an excellent budget property. Close enough to downtown to walk, lots of great dining options nearby. Room was clean and well supplied and what you would expect for the price. Will be my go to for business travel to YVR.

I will NEVER have anything to do with that hotel again, EVER! The front desk person seemed confused when I was checking in, couldn't find the reservation. To give her time to get things organized, I Ieft my bag and went to eat. By the time I got back, she has rented ALL remaining rooms, leaving me with no place to stay MANY miles away from home! I will NEVER recommend this hotel!

We liked the location and the room was big. Close walk to park, waterfront, restaurants and grocery store. It could use a bit of an update and deep cleaning but overall it was fine. Check in staff were nice and helpful. The only issue we had was the TV internet stopped work on the second day. I called three times outer a couple days and the staff weren’t helpful in fixing it and didn’t send anyone to fix it. I gave up contacting the staff and connected the TV to my phone data and it worked good. This was annoying but kept the our children happy.

Location, location, location!!!!! This is not the fanciest hotel with the most amenities but the location cannot be beat. Right in the heart of Robson street, just step outside and you’ve got world class cuisine, shopping and great street life. Divya Sutra Suites is a nice clean charming hotel, with parking that I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to experience the west end of Vancouver and all it has to offer.

This property needs a refresh. It also had a strange policy of checking all adult’s identification. There was also a strange smell. The price was definitely cheaper than anything else and the location is great.
