Had a wonderful overnight stay within walking distance to stores, movie theater and yoga studios.

Central location in walking distance to everything. Nice and quiet neighborhood. Charming location. Nice quiet room. The non-contact access is convenient.

The wood deck was very slippery, and I almost fell three times, even though I was being careful. The deck should be replaced with composite decking to reduce the slipperiness, or outdoor runner mats could be added to the pathway. It would be better if there was a small fridge in the room to keep my drinks cold.

Homely and close to the centre of Vancouver. Staff were friendly and very easy check in.

I preferred the room on the second night that was really lovely. The first night room was clean but the carpet let the homely feel down.

Cosy stay in charming, heritage house :)

The staff were absolutely amazing. Very friendly and welcoming, went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. The place itself is utterly charming. If you prefer a house with lots of character as opposed to a modern high-rise hotel block, then this is the place for you

Even though I adored the property as a whole, as it’s an old building, it might be worth noting that I could hear guests in the other rooms quite clearly and there was a pungent smell lurking in my room. Not that I minded, but might be good to note if some people are sensitive to that sort of stuff. Personally, I will be back :)

A Very Cozy West End Vancouver experience

The location is fantastic. The property is like staying with your favourite Aunt. Very olde worlde Breakfast is included and fantastic. The kitchen is always accessible and usually fresh muffins and cookies as well as fruit and snacks supplied.

Cozy and welcoming spot to stay right downtown

Cozy old house right downtown. Great location to walk to everything. It was clean and comfortable. It felt really homey—nothing like a modern hotel—this is an old house, so expect that. I loved the house itself and the backyard and all the common spaces. Breakfast was good, the guest pantry snacks were lovely, and staff were helpful and responsive.

Delightful historic house that was charming to stay in

Staff were wonderful, the house is in an fabulous position and central to Vancouver City and the history of the house made our stay all the memorable.

No light in the cloak room where the fridge is located and the bathroom lights flickered on and off even after the bulbs were changed, otherwise a most wonderful place.

Comfortable and convenient.

It was within a reasonable walk to Hullo Ferry and to the QE Theatre where we went to see a concert. We also took the False Creek Ferry to be tourists in the area and it was within a short walk as well. There were lots of nearby restaurants to choose from for dinner, as well. A very walkable location.

In the end a great stay but didn’t need the conflicting info about parking.

Location great to downtown

Advertised as having parking but in reality they have only 5 spots on site for 7 rooms…in the end they were able to provide onsite parking but I was only able to find that out on check-in….the parking limitations should be spelled out more clearly up front….also lock on back gate to access house from parking was very difficult to open…they really need to fix that!

Absolutely wonderful and truly memorable.

The house is enchanting,our room was truly lovely, and the breakfast scrumptuously ample, however, the 'cherry on top' was meeting Davorka who greeted us when we arrived and sorted out some dietary restrictions, allaying any of our concerns. She went above and beyond and was very accomodating and helpful.

We would have to make things up in order to answer this query. As mentioned, Davorka was a most welcoming host, and everything was so special. Heck, we even liked the other people who were also staying at the b&b during our stay(!) Good vibes.

A unique historical property in the Downtown area. Great location as most of the main city attractions are within walking distance. Very comfortable room and bathroom facilities. Tasty buffet breakfast (hot & cold). Easy check in process with great communication up front before arrival.

Although characterful, the decoration is a little faded and in need of an update. But nothing that detracts from overall enjoyment of the stay.

It was so cosy. The room was clean, it was very welcoming. Only minutes walk from everything but quiet too. Breakfast was delicious. You could help yourselves to the pantry at any time. Absolutely loved it. The staff were so friendly.

What could have been quaint, was really shabby.

The location was great and there was parking at the site. There were places to sit outside. It was quiet and the guests respected each other.

The breakfasts were extremely repetitive, and the food was pretty much processed. There was very little fresh produce. The eggs were the same every day. There wasn't an icemaker and very little space for our own food. The carpeting was old, musty smelling, tired and dirty. It should be replaced. New carpeting would make a huge difference and lighten the place up. Paint was peeling outside. It seemed shabby and rundown. Our room was very small and the ventilation was poor. There is no AC and ceiling fans would be an improvement. Sorry.

This is such a gem of a BnB right in the middle of everything in Vancouver. The house is lovely, the rooms and bed exceptionally comfortable and the most amazing breakfast - everything was perfect. The best scrambled eggs! Special shout out to the staff who are so lovely, helpful and give everyone individual attention (and did I mention the amazing breakfast prepared every day!). The daytime snacks - from cookies to fruit, juice, tea, coffee - are the icing on the cake. Highly recommend
