Staff and hotel locations were great, everything else not so much. The hotel is very run down, dirty, and moldy. We had no shampoo or shower gel in our room, no one had refilled the bottles.

We had issues with our tv the entire time we were there. I understand I don’t travel to watch tv but …. I even had the tv switched out and still had an issue. At check out I was told it was a service provider issue and they were getting a new provider. I call BS. The tv would go on, we would change channels, it would shut off. Would turn it on and it would shut off again. It did this for 4 days. Incredibly disappointed. No offer of a credit to my account or anything. The manager I felt was condescending.

The room could have been cleaner. Im a housecleaner so I'm quite picky about cleanliness. Staff all throughout the hotel during our stay were friendly and accommodating. Disappointed that the hot tub was out of order especially after walking around downtown all day

The property is outdated. There were some renovations made but in a very sloppy way. Everything is just not thought through well. Access to the parking is difficult, you have to climb stairs with luggage to and from parking, the elevator is old and slow. No one dines in the adjacent restaurant. If you get a good price for the reservation, it's ok but our rate was pretty high and I was very disappointed

The room I was in didn’t have a decent view and limited light. The rooftop view was nice but the penthouse room/kitchen was not air conditioned and very hot. The hot tub was out of service during my stay. There was no concierge to help guide me during my stay. My room was cleaned every other day and was missing some towels after one cleaning.

Grand Park was an older hotel downtown that was super convenient and adjacent to an area with a lot of great dining options. Front desk staff was very helpful and it was a 10 minute Uber to Roger's arena and 25 minute safe walk back after the show.

Location was excellent as far as accessibility to other places. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The actual hotel is quite an old building and the decor corresponds to this. Furnishings are old. Electrical outlets and usb outlets didnt work on any of our lamps. The fridges were missing the temperature dials which is weird but understandable. They worked still. Our rooms had hardwood floors and while they looked clean, they actually weren't for walking around without shoes or socks. All in all, it serves its' purpose as far as a place to sleep that makes access to other places super easy. I would not rate it a 4 star, more like 3.

Good value for the money. Rooms were nice. Restaurant was convenient with good food at reasonable prices. Little frustrated with ice machines not working although staff provided ice at the front desk in request. Also, the hot tub was out of service which was something we were looking forward to after a long day of activities. Overall a good stay and would come again.

Surrounding area was quite run down but still felt safe. For the high price the hotel was very dated. Mattresses were not standard hotel quality and pillows felt like they were from the discount bin. Staff were excellent and accomodating amd upper floor balcony/penthouse was a noce addition. Overall it should be about 2/3 of the price at most.

Keurig coffee, tee, tea, microwave and fridge is a good idea on the room, but ligths on those are unconfortable. The worse was the air conditioner, make to much noise and imposible to control. Internet and location excelent.

The hotel lobby and hallways are not very impressive and worn out, but the room was very comfortable and clean, location is extremely central and safe and on the top floor there is a nice penthouse that everybody has access to with the kitchen and a nice terrace and a place to work. We’re probably overpaid given the hotel condition but we were also there during a three day weekend and local holiday so it was the best we could find.

This hotel was great to stay at! It was very clean, the staff was friendly, and the location was convenient to everything downtown. The rooftop and sauna area was quiet and relaxing. I was bummed out that the hot tub was out of order during my stay. The only thing I did not like was the shower head in my room was a bit wonky...it seemed to have a leak, so it was spraying extra water from the sides and it was getting the bathroom floor and top of the toilet all wet and the shower curtain wouldn't stay fully closed on that side. Other than that, I had a great stay and will definitely stay here again in the future!

Very quiet and clean. Rooms were outdated but it’s expected for the price and location. I found we had to walk pretty far for shops but still a great location. I don’t recommend going to the Tim hortons two blocks away, very sketchy crowd. Staff was extremely friendly.
