Well, let’s just say we will choose another place next time in spite of good location.

Very close to Sr Tanley Park and all the restaurants on Denman

The first room had a broken shower faucet which dripped into parking lot. The y moved us to third floor which was very cold much of the time (December). Also, the check-in procedure was clunky and unlike any I’ve ever experienced in my long experience with hotels. Staff only there 9-5.

There is a reason I keep returning!

I keep going back here because it is such a lovely older facility. It has charm and personality. The apartments are a good size, and everything you need is provided. They are dog friendly, and really close to Stanley Park (for dog walking.). Staff are so wonderful and nice.

Please don't develop this place into another high rise. The neighborhood needs to keep this kind of charm!

This was my second stay at the hotel. The location is incredible, and the suites very spacious and spotlessly clean. Check in was seamless and staff very accommodating. Love the history of the Rosellen and the quirky decor.

Excellent place to stay, highly recommended

Property is well kept and managed. Conveniently located, close to Robson Street and Stanley Park, and situated in a beautiful and safe neighborhood.

Bathroom is a bit small, not much space to put things, could add some cupboards or shelves.

We enjoyed our visit to Vancouver and our apartment was adequate, comfortable and ideally located.

The location was excellent. Close to bus stops and only 3 blocks to the Hop-on, Hop-off tourist bus. Plenty of great restaurants and cafes, plus a large supermarket, within easy walking distance. A quiet residential area and quite safe. We had a ground floor apartment, which was ideal for our age group. We were able to store our luggage in the Suites office after we checked out, and pick it up later that afternoon to head to the airport.

The man on duty when we arrived after 5pm (that time was pre-arranged with the Suites staff) was surly and rude and complained about having to come down and let us in. (The Suites office hadn't sent us a code to allow us to get in ourselves!) It was a disappointing start to our stay, and very bad front-of-house presentation to a new customer. The same man was on duty again later in our stay of 3 days and was just as rude. He seemed hassled, rushed, and quite unlike what should be expected of someone who deals with paying guests. We need to commend the man who was on duty when we left though - he was friendly, helpful and just what a front-of-house employee should be. Sadly we didn't get his name. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, but VERY old, with dated furniture and fitiings, in need of painting and fixing things that were broken, etc. Considering the price, we had expected a much more stylish and modern apartment.

Wonderful, green, quiet location next to beautiful walking paths with birds.

Location. I heard birds instead of traffic. The location was near excellent restaurants, the seawall, and beautiful areas to walk. I also liked the the older style of the room. The location and the suite were very quiet.

The location is a long walking distance to the skytrain and Canada Line.

Right by a gorgeous park, very kind staff, and a whimsical elevator.

Everything else about our stay was great!

Parking when we first arrived was a nightmare, since we did not know that ultimately we would be parking on a backstreet in their private garage… It would have been nice to know ahead of time these arrangements.

Great location and comfortable unit

Location was fantastic, right next to Stanley Park and a short walk to sunset beach and the many shops, eateries and bike hire shops on Denman Street. We were able to walk to the Granville Island ferry and bike into Canada Place. The living area of our unit was spacious and decor was cheerful. We really appreciated having access to the onsite laundry and helpful advice from the manager.

Excellent suite located less than a block from Stanley Park

The suite was very comfortable. It's location was great, being near the restaurants on Denman St and being lesss than a block from Stanley Park. The managers were very helpful and kind, even when we asked them stupid questions as a result of not properly reading the instructions.

There were a couple of nit-picks, but they were really not important enough to warrant mentioning.

Stayed in a 2 BR. Great to have a kitchen, gathering space in living room, safe parking. Ridiculously wonderful location near park and beach and restaurant and commercial district

Mostly cosmetic issues. The place is dated and the kitchen has worn handles on drawers and cabinets which badly needed a new coat of paint at very least. But it was certainly clean and equipped with what we needed.

Nice apartment

Plenty of room and comfortable seating.

There was no parking in front of the entrance to unload and load luggage. I paid for parking and it was in the basement of the building and did not have an elevator. The air conditioner was in the main room and a ceiling fan in the bedroom. The ceiling fan was on high and could not be changed. I had to open the window to help cool down the bedroom.

Regret booking this place and in future will stay at Times Square Suites which is far better.

Clean.

Limited reception hours with reception closing at 5pm and 3pm on Sundays. Made several requests by direct email to host requesting the one time door code to be able to obtain our room key after hours. No replies and was later told that my email must have ended up in their spam folder! Property is old fashioned and tired and their is a sign outside that planning approval is being sought to demolish and erect a 29 level building which explains why this property has not been upgraded.

Great location, near Stanley Park, English Bay and lots of very good restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful. The little basket with tea, coffee and condiments in the room was a nice bonus.

Dog friendly, separate bedroom Location location location is awesome. Two minutes you are at Lost Lagoon and such a beautiful evening walk around it. Then we walked to English bay in ten minutes maybe for drinks and a great dinner beach front. Morning got brekkie at a coffee shop just block away. It’s all so convenient!
