The kitchen contained bread, cereal, fruit, and hot beverages. The room was clean and the location was quiet.The restroom was clean and ventilation was readily available by opening the window.

I didn't like the fact that every restaurant or attraction was too far to walk. This is ideal if you have transportation. I had to Uber into Edinburgh.

We stayed for one night and found the room to be clean, comfortable, and well-presented. The self check-in process was straightforward, and the location was convenient for exploring Edinburgh. Overall, a pleasant stay with a convenient location, but clearer information regarding the bathroom setup and a few additional comforts would provide better value for money and improve the guest experience.

A couple of things that could be improved is the description of the “private bathroom.” While the bathroom is for the exclusive use of the room, it is not actually attached to the room itself. Guests need to leave their room and access it from the hallway, which wasn’t clear from the listing. A more accurate description would help future guests know exactly what to expect. Another suggestion would be to provide a fan in the room. We found the room became quite stuffy overnight, but leaving the window open made it too cold, so a fan would help guests regulate the temperature more comfortably. We also felt the price was a little excessive for what was offered, particularly given the bathroom arrangement and lack of basic amenities such as a fan and hair dryer.
