First class comfort and service with a smile!

My daughter and I spent a few nights at the hotel during the February half-term 2026 and we had the best time ever. The location was perfect for public transport to and from the airport, and for getting into the old and new town for a spot of sightseeing. We loved everything about our room: the complimentary snacks, fluffy towels, and the livestream 'window' of the football ground. The staff were wonderful, friendly, chatty and kind: from Victoria in reception to Mark the amazing chef, and Kelly who served us at breakfast.

We didn't like that we had to leave!

Exceptional experience and excellent stuff

Every thing was excellent ad beyond expectation. Staff at reception were very kind and super helpful. the room was very clean, and there was loads of free stuff including drinks, coffee and water.

We dined in the skyline restaurant and the food was beautiful but I ordered a strawberry daquari and it was a bit of a let down at £12 I felt it was overpriced for what’s you get so I didn’t order another one.

Absolute perfection in a hotel

Our stay at Tynecastle Park Hotel was one of those rare times when a hotel has exceeded my expectations in every possible way. I booked because of the closeness to Murrayfield since I didn't want to be bothered with queuing for packed trams on Calcutta Cup day, but there were so many more outstanding things about this hotel which made our weekend so special. The staff were all so friendly and made us feel so welcome, from the smiling faces at breakfast (which was absolutely amazing) to the cheerful housekeeping ladies, the bar staff who let us use the couches and watch TV and served us drinks when the bar wasn't even open, to the front desk staff who took care of getting us rooms next to each other and printed boarding passes, booked taxis etc. Every single person played their part in making our stay special. The breakfast as noted was amazing, huge portions and all really high quality ingredients, but the real surprise was dinner in the restaurant on Sunday night. The fish and chips was out of this world, probably the freshest haddock I've ever had, and batter so light that it melted in the mouth. The rooms were spotless and spacious and had lovely fixtures and fittings, plus loads of tea and coffee and biscuits and crisps etc to snack on. I honestly can't stress enough how good the experience was at the Tynecastle Park Hotel, it is an absolute gem of a place to stay and I will not even consider anywhere else for future trips to Edinburgh.

It’s always a great experience here. I’ve come here often and I never have any complaints. The hotel is amazing and feels very homey and nice - I would recommend to anyone who wanted to stay in Edinburgh. The staff are always kind and very accommodating too!

Great room. Quiet and very pleasant. Staff were great. Everything in the room was lovely and good quality. Crisps and biscuits complementary as well as tea and coffee.

I saw there was a hotel restaurant so had looked forward to eating there. In reality there’s no restaurant and the bar and hotel were so quiet the bar was empty. So I popped round the corner for a take away pizza.

Hardly anything to note, but just a few little cleanliness bits. The mirrors hadn't been cleaned and there were a few hairs in the bed.

The service from the staff was excellent. Food was great. Unique location and top notch facilities.

Our room did not have a window. Rather there is a big TV with live feed of the pitch. I was fine. My wife found it a bit claustrophobic. Not all rooms have windows so best to ask in advance if you want one.

The room was excellent. The bed was very comfy. Everything was clean.

No window - we had a tv screen which showed the stadium. Beforehand I didn't realize the hotel was part of the stadium. During the game you could hear the crowds. But it was a good room anyway.

Great experience

Great facilities- 5 star luxury in a 4 star hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful - made us feel right at home all the time. Really unusual to have a hotel owned by a soccer club and a club owned by the fans - really positive atmosphere all round.

Stayed for the oasis concert so a short walk to Murray field. Staff were very friendly and polite. Room was nice even though their was no windows
