    Foremost problem in the hotel is size of bathroom. It was too small even to stand properly. Shower slide door was not working. Practically impossible to take shower. The second issue was no intercom facilty in the room to request any help. The hotel has no lifts. Even if I have to ask for tooth brush, I have to come three floors down, pay for the same and then go up back Similarly on day of checkout, we were ready by 10.30 am as checkout time was 11 am. In absence of intercom, we cannot inform reception that we are ready and carrying luggage down ourselves and very difficult without help. At 11.15 am, somebody from reception comes us asking to vacate the room otherwise we may have to pay delay charges. These all made our stay very inconvenient.

    Gorgeous building overlooking the city. Not far from all the sights but nicely distanced from the touristy madness in town. The room was large and comfortable. I'd thought the decor would be more in line with the style and period of the building but it was quite modern - and thus very comfortable and accommodating. Breakfast buffet was extensive and tasty though hard to keep everything like tattie scones fresh in a steam table type setting.

    Informed staff of the following but nothing was done. 1. Water pressure was extremely low. Hardly could have a proper shower. 2. Mattress was sagging and was very uncomfortable for our 2 nights stay. It was a waste of time reporting.
