Hillhouse

The room was clean and comfortable. The owner was friendly and helpful. The location worked well for us. It was a good value. The Indian restaurant a block away is terrific.

Clean and tidy and hosts were friendly

The lady who greeted me on arrival was so friendly and welcoming, she was very helpful and gave me great advice about where to go and how to get there. It is a family ran hotel/guesthouse and the family are lovely people. I only stayed one night as I had vehicle trouble and had to book somewhere last minute. Very happy with the price as well, compared with other hotels in Edinburgh this was fantastic value for money. The room was spotless and the bed was super comfortable, so much so that I slept longer than I was supposed to. The shower was hot and powerful. I 100% recommend staying here if you are visiting Edinburgh. I know I will definitely stay when I'm there next. Thanks. Mark Scott
