Was a lovely stay, the family hosting were incredibly lovely and the room and facilities were exceptional. Also travel to the centre was extremely accessible with buses running regularly right outside. 10/10 would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to someone looking for a place to stay in Edinburgh.

Loved the cute room even though it was a small one it had everything we needed in a room.

Fantastic hosts
Just a little too far out of the city to walk however we only stated one night and didn't have a lot of time. Apparently public transport is very good.

cheap bed with no breakfast, for quick practical trip, no much facilites.
good wifi, good storage space
good shower with strong flow current
working kettle
close to bus station takes you directly to Waverly
door key are difficult to use
no lift
tiny room
not very clean
bed is not comfortable
quite cold even in summer, the heater does not work
TV does not work
toilet seat is quite high and not comfortable
very minimal towels provided
no availability or access to kitchen
no breakfast
curtains are quite shallow don't block the day light, it gets very bright early morning in summer, could not sleep well
