Dalmore Lodge Guest House

The location was perfect, right outside bus stop, it was comfortable and very welcoming, had tea coffee facilities in room, clean towels, tv and hairdryer. There was a lovely breakfast room with cereals and tea coffee facilities, a kitchen area with a toaster, microwave and a well stoked up fridge - bread yogurts butter jam fresh fruit. Even washing machine to use. Great communication from owner.

Our room was clean apart from the tv and window sill which was thick with dust. Toilet and shower needs a good bleach.

It was in a great location to catch the bus into old town and to airport. Scott,who owns the property, was so accommodating and kind . The facility was clean and beds were comfortable. It truly was all we needed for our stay in Edinburgh .

Rooms are nice with beautiful view on hills. Bustops are front of appartments, easy to go to the center.

Only little remark - in double bed should be better with two blankets.

The kitchen had yoghurts, milk and juice, and a selection of breads butter and jams—microwave and toasters. Guests could utilize any of these plus dishwasher for their dirty dishes. There was a coffee bar, a coffee machine, kettle for hot water in your room, and teas and coffee anytime. Plus selection of dry cereals. The dining room was the only room other than your bedroom, and two dining room tables and chairs. Friendly staff. Bedrooms are compact—ours had two single beds, but had ample room under the bed to store suitcases—with a wardrobe and chest of drawers. Wi-Fi available. Good location for airport and Edinburgh centre, also opposite Edinburgh zoo

Limited on street parking. Small rooms though they had ensuite bathroom. Tiny twisting staircase tho proprietor helped us with the baggage . But not suitable for people with mobility issues. Front rooms overlooking noisy busy street—management could provide earplugs? Pricy but this was due to August Edinburgh Tattoo, and there was not a lot of a availability.
