About this house rental
WELCOME to “StrandGut”!
We have lovingly furnished and equipped our thatched-roof house, completed in 2021, with great care and effort. We hope you feel right at home.
On the first floor, you’ll find an open and bright kitchen-dining area featuring a kitchenette, a dining area, and a cozy sofa nook with a wood-burning stove. This is the perfect spot to start your day together and enjoy the evening. In the living room, there are two doors that lead out to the garden, offering a view of the open field in front of you. On the terrace, you can sit under a glass roof—so you’re always perfectly sheltered. No matter the weather—sun, rain, or wind. You’ll also find a separate paved area for “sunbathers” and a high-quality beach chair set up under bamboo. Also on the first floor is a small sauna with a walk-in rain shower. In the fall and winter, the sauna offers a wonderful opportunity to rejuvenate your body, mind, and soul. There’s also a separate guest restroom and a small utility room equipped with a washer-dryer, a small ironing board, an iron, a small clothes rack, and a vacuum cleaner. All windows are equipped with exterior shutters, fly screens, and pleated blinds. The pretty wooden staircase leads up to the two bedrooms and a spacious bathroom featuring a bathtub, Wi-Fi-enabled radio, another shower, and an additional bathtub. Here you’ll find one bedroom with a double bed (160m x 200m) and another room with two separate beds (90 x 200)—one of which is also a pull-out bed. Do you have a baby or toddler? We also provide a travel crib (free of charge) and a high chair. All electrical outlets are equipped with child safety covers, and there are 2 USB ports at each bed.
The Baltic Sea is not far away—it’s about a 10-minute walk from the house to the beach. Feel free to use the handcart if needed. Enjoy the view of the wonderful Poel Bay. Here you can swim, relax, go for a walk, have coffee, play mini-golf, and so much more… the area behind the house is also a dream for joggers and walkers. There’s plenty of space in the wooden shed for the bikes you bring along, along with two comfortable lounge chairs and some sand toys for the kids. Your vacation can begin.
An electric charging station (wallbox) has been installed at the house since 2023. This can be used free of charge.
Pets are allowed upon request and for a fee (€10.00 per day).
