About this house rental
Welcome to the Hornhecht House!
We have lovingly furnished and equipped this thatched-roof semi-detached home, which was completed in 2021. On the first floor, you’ll find an open-concept kitchen-living area with a fully equipped kitchenette (oven, glass-ceramic cooktop, dishwasher, coffee maker, SodaStream, toaster, electric kettle, and much more), a wonderful dining area with a view of the garden, and a cozy sofa corner with a wood-burning stove. Here you’ll find everything you need to start the day together or wind it down with a cooking evening and a glass of wine in front of the fireplace. A selection of board games, toys, and (children’s) books is also available. On the same level, you’ll also find an utility room with a washing machine and a small freezer, a separate restroom, and a small but lovely wellness area with a sauna and a walk-in rain shower.
Up the stairs, you’ll find two cozy bedrooms and a spacious shower room with a heated towel rack. One bedroom is furnished with a 160-size double bed; the second bedroom has two single beds. In total, the house can accommodate up to 4 people.
Outside, there’s a parking space with a wall-mounted charging station, so you can park easily and charge your car if needed. There is also a sun-drenched pavilion available for shared use, with an adjacent brick outdoor grill area. A beach chair invites you to sunbathe even in the typical Baltic Sea breeze.
The Hanseatic city of Wismar is just a few minutes’ drive away and is also a lovely destination for a bike ride.
