A cozy, detached thatched-roof house called “De Strandkieker” on Wismar Bay, featuring a sauna.
Built in 2014, this thatched-roof house with 97 square meters of living space is located in the new vacation home community “De Poeler Drift” in Zierow. Furnished with solid wood furniture, lattice windows, and shutters, this vacation home invites you to enjoy the Mecklenburg Baltic Sea coast in every season. Whether in the beautiful summer—since the beach is nearby and there’s a garden surrounding the property—or even during the colder or gloomier seasons, as both a sauna and a wood-burning stove are available. A fully tiled thatched-roof house equipped with underfloor heating awaits you. The high-quality interior leaves nothing to be desired. The first floor welcomes you with a large living/dining area featuring an open kitchen and offers plenty of space for the whole family. The integrated kitchen is fully equipped with a high-quality oven with an induction cooktop, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a toaster, and a kettle; an egg cooker and a blender are also provided. A leather sofa set and armchairs invite you to enjoy a cozy evening. A flat-screen TV, Blu-ray player, and Bluetooth stereo system provide entertainment, and there are also several books, travel guides, and games available. The living area features a wood-burning stove that provides cozy warmth during the cold season. Guests must bring their own firewood. The dining area seats 4 people, and a high chair is also available. Also located on the first floor are a guest restroom with natural light, a sauna with a comfort shower, and an utility room equipped with a washing machine, a clothes drying rack, a vacuum cleaner, an iron, an ironing board, and cleaning supplies.
On the upper floor, you’ll find two spacious bedrooms (15 square meters each) and a bathroom. The bedroom with a lake view is furnished with a double bed (180x200), a built-in wardrobe, a dresser, two nightstands, and a second TV. There is also space for a travel crib here, which can be provided upon request. The children’s room features two single beds (90x200), a closet, a dresser, and two nightstands. Fly screens are installed for ventilation. The thatched house’s shutters can be used to block out light. Your vacation begins right away—bed linens are included and will be freshly made upon your arrival. The modern full bathroom beneath the distinctive bat-wing dormer creates a cozy atmosphere. It is equipped with high-quality fixtures (a[nbsp]bathtub and a shower). A hair dryer is also provided. The covered south-facing terrace is furnished with patio furniture, and the large garden with an outdoor grill is perfect for relaxing and playing. The garden shed for storing bicycles is located in the fenced-in garden. A bike rack and parking space are located directly on the property. The natural beach is about 500 m away.
