Peaceful and relaxing stay, [vegan] food can be better

The location is really peaceful and serene. The beach access is quite comfortable and clean. The spa massage is very relaxing and affordable. The rooms are also quite spacious with good bathrooms to clear off sand easily. Overall the place is really great for those who want a relaxing no fuss place to enjoy Khao Lak. It's highly recommended to have your own car or be comfortable with waiting for cabs. We look forward to coming back again!

They can do better with their vegan options in the breakfast. They had assured us they do have some vegan options: "For Breakfast, we normally provide items that are suitable for vegan such as bread, plant-based milk, fruit, salad only." And they did have all the things they said, and even a fried rice/fried noodle option, however plant based milk was absent. So manage your expectations accordingly fellow vegans. The allergens weren't labelled either, so if you have allergies do check with staff before consuming. We did dine in at their restaurant, unfortunately we found the food to be lacking (we tried pineapple fried rice, but it didn't really have much of pineapple; and pad thai, which was all clumped up together). Apart from that everything else was quite good. We had a car so reaching nearby vegan restaurants wasn't a problem at all. P.S. There was another small issue, which isn't the hotel's fault, but we should mention it. Our room was on the 1st floor, and unfortunately the guests staying on the ground floor just under our room used to smoke. Because of this, we couldn't use the beautiful balcony our room had, because it was always smelling of cigarette smoke coming from downstairs. So be aware that while smoking isn't allowed in the rooms, the premise, pool and beach of course would have some smokers and you may have to walk through that each time.

Fabulous!

We had a fabulous time, the pools were clean and a good temperature, the proximity to the beach was amazing! And the option of two pools or the sea was fab. It’s a 10 minute walk into the centre or a cheap taxi will take you. The breakfast is amazing and varies each day. Everywhere is spotless and the staff are friendly and attentive. Would absolutely stay again!

The only negative was that our showers were cold two of the three nights and the bar is a little pricey compared to town. Next door does a sunset happy hour and something like that here would be such a plus!

relaxing stay

We were a group of 4 friends spending some holidays days before our dive-trip! We got upgraded, so that our rooms are next to each other and accessible - awesome! The service is friendly and helpful and the staff always comes with a smile! Also the massage area is stunning and the massages are so relaxing! We really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely come back when we plan our next dive trip!

Lovely hotel for a few days.

It was quieter than many. Also being at the end of the bay beach area felt like it was just ours. We liked the pools and the gardens.

Downside to being further out is cost of transportation getting to town or other places for meals. However found Nice options walking along beach.

Comfortable and clean rooms in a great location right on the beach.

Beautiful location on a quiet part of the beach. Good breakfast - especially the egg station. Plenty of Sun loungers and just a step into the beach. We would have prefered it if there was no smoking at breakfast, we had to move tables a few times to avoid smoke wafting over our food.

It was excellent on every way… massive buffet breakfast included… two pools on the beach… deck chairs right over looking the beach…good pool bar… good poolside food…

There was no where to eat dinner on the edge of the beach to watch the sunset…we went next door to another resort that had excellent food right on the beach… superb food….

Relaxing stay away from the hustle and bustle.

Staff was amazing; super friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Excellent breakfast options. Having 2 pools to choose from was nice as well a beach front. Ride to town centre (shopping, ATM, restaurants, etc.) was a short tuk tuk ride away or very walkable distance. Good spa services.

Sometimes difficult to get lounge chairs by the pool or beach front as guests would set out their “orange beach towels” very early in the am to “reserve” them, and would leave them vacant for a good part of the day, however the resort staff did their best to minimize this from happening.

Lovely setting and good to be able to walk along the beach for considerable distance.

Location was brilliant. Staff were always friendly. Plenty of sunbeds, but see below.

Rainhead shower was useless but the normal shower was OK. Breakfast could have been a little more interesting but adequate amounts. No teabags in the room, coffee only. Guests completely ignored notice not to reserve sunbeds very early.

Exactly what we were hoping for

We loved the beautiful garden setting and the rooms that just seemed to be part of it. Staff was very friendly and always trying to help.

I know breakfast in Thailand is always a little difficult so this could be improved. Waffles and pancakes were very dry.

Excellent Breakfast, wonderful pools, right on the beach. Lovely gardens, all spotlessly clean.

Bar didn't have wine although it was advertised, which was a pity as it meant that we spent more time at the restaurant next door, while we actually would have happily supported this one. Bed was a bit too firm.

We were totally off season and had the place to ourselves including the lovely pools and beach. Food was good and reasonable and rooms lovely.

It was a little disappointing the bar and restaurant was closed on our second day and night. Food and drinks ordered by phone, no fresh fruit drinks, only alcohol was beer etc. Lack of staff we were told, but staff to guests ratio seemed about 5 to 1. Bit of a shame as we wanted to spend our money there rather than.next door. I'm sure this was a one off though and it was v quiet.

Very pretty and nice place, quiet and not to big. Nice and helpful staff. No music while eating and that was really nice. It take no time to go to town by taxi and you can also walk, but of course if you walk it take longer time. We felt all relaxed because of the quietness, two pools and a nice beach and no sun beds at beach, that was also really nice. We will defently recomand this place and would stay here again

Sijainti on loistava, pääsee mereen uimaan ja Khao Lakin lähimpään keskustaa voi kävellä. Taxejakin on saatavilla hyvin. Hotellissa oli monipuolinen aamiainen ja ravintoloissa hyvä ruoka.

Huoneessamme oli hiukan ummehtunut haju, sanoimme siitä ja lupasivat tutkia asiaa. Haju hälveni päivien kuluessa ja ei sitten vaihdettu huonetta, kun ei tullut mitään oireitakaan. Hotelli olisi täydellinen, jos siellä olisi vielä kuntosali.
