Really enjoyable and relaxing….

Everything was well organised.Lovely well kept gardens. Two great pools. Food was fine. Short walk to beach, but no loungers, as local laws protect it…no jet skis etc…fantastic! Good sized room and comfortable. Lots of loungers by pool and in garden.

Nice comfortable stay

The resort provided a commendable experience, fulfilling all requirements for our brief visit. Our accommodations were meticulously maintained, comfortable, and well-appointed. The swimming pool facilities were pristine, complemented by an impeccably maintained surrounding garden. While the restaurant offered a satisfactory dining experience, its pricing was notably higher compared to other places we visited. The cocktail selection was enjoyable. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring a diverse and appealing hot and cold buffet.

It did the job

We stayed here for two nights at the end of our trip. If I had stayed here for a week I would have been disappointed. But its all about what's important to you right? For me, it's the beach, the beach near this resort is not great. We also stayed at Bangsak Beach further north and that was amazing. We took a tuk tuk to Coconut Beach which was really nice. We walked to the main road and found great restaurants both nights. We had plenty of room as the rooms are quite spacious, just a bit tired. It was peaceful and quiet.

Swimming pool is great, forget about the beach.

Swimming pool, breakfast box when leaving very early morning.

Hotel has no beach access even so the hotel name stating “Oceanside”. The beach close to the hotel does not offer any possibility to lay or stay in the shadows neither are any beach chairs possible to rent as the whole beach front is owned by other hotels. Beach itself has nice sand but there are some stones which you need to be quite careful to not hurt yourself. Coffee at breakfast was of very poor quality.

If the bed is uncomfortable get it changed

I was unwell from the day after checking and bed ridden so couldn’t really say too much however the staff were lovely and it was close to the beach

Breakfast choice was a little small and probably the worst bed I have ever slept in, flipped the mattress and it was still really bad, resulting in a bad back I would advise to start replacing them if they are all the same

Great resort, terrible food.

The resort is great, however, it is let down by the food. Just as well there are lots of restaurants close by.

The restaurant, the food was awful. Breakfast was cold and the same thing everyday, no variety. I had one meal there, worst meal I have ever had, Greek salad made with cucumber and not much else. Everyone I spoke to agreed that the food was the biggest let down.

Good value for money in a good location

A wonderful hotel in a good location. Compared to some of the sprawling hotels we walked through close by the Leaf has much more charm. Nestled in the hillside, the rooms are nicely spaced around the pool area with lovely grounds and the jungle as a backdrop. It's not too big and impersonal. It's a 2 minute walk from the beach and a 10 minute walk to plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. The staff are all incredibly friendly and polite- always saying hello. The room was very comfortable- spacious, good shower and nice balcony overlooking the pool area. The breakfast buffet was more than sufficient with a freshly cooked to order egg station, fresh fruit and plenty of other offerings. Simple things pleased me such as the pool towels being long enough to cover the whole sun lounger and the provision of umbrellas in the room for the inevitable showers. Suitable for families and couples.

Great value for money accommodation with good location, clean, and friendly staff.

The hotel is located quite centrally to all amenities and places to eat, hence convenient. Slight dissapointment is that it's not sea fronting - with beach, but close enough. There is a nice pool to chill. The staff were friendly and accommodating. For breakfast, it's buffet style but it's always the same kinds of food every day.

Lovely pool area, a very quiet hotel with wonderful staff, very clean rooms, a short 400 metre walk to the Main Street in Khao Lak. This hotel is a recommended stay for any time length, the taxi lady is friendly and can advise on tours etc from the comfort of the hotel foyer.

It’s was pleasant to stay here

Good hotel with beautiful clean territory and helpful staff, the cleaning was carried out every day, breakfast every day is almost the same but very good, there is good coffee machine; bed, mattress and pillow were comfortable, 2 pools, sun bed # is enough for everybody, free beach towels, there are washing machine and dryer on the territory, 50 bath each. Beach is 3-5 min to go, beautiful lighthouse in front of.

A fantastic hotel in-between the main street and beach and what lovely staff!

This was our second time staying at The Leaf and we once again experienced a great stay. The staff are extremely friendly, location is perfect for us in-between the main street and beach. We've stayed at a number of hotels in Khao Lak and for value for money The Leaf can't be beaten. Breakfast, rooms and comfort of beds all great value. Thanks for another great stay The Leaf.

The palm villa must be nearly 20 years old now and is in need of some renovations. The roller door on the balcony kept coming off the rails. There is a large window on rollers in the bathroom and it had a large gap that allowed bugs to get in and was not lockable. I managed to secure it with a wedge. There is no hot water in the hand basin. The first nights there the aircon was so load and would cut out off and on. When it came back on with a load roar it would wake us up again. We asked to be moved due to the noise but the maintenance guys managed to stop the on off part but it was still as load as a farm tractor. There is no movie channel just local TV.

Beautiful hotel with beautiful gardens

Only stayed one night here but when back to Khao Lak I will definitely stay in this hotel again. Typical holiday resort with everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The rooms are spacious with a a balcony facing the pool or the garden. I stayed in a room facing the garden and didn’t mind at all because it was very quiet and peaceful. The pool can be very crowded. The breakfast it’s amazing with a variety of choices. Love this place.

A little oasis..

We came to The Leaf Oceanside as our first stop when arriving to Thailand for a 3 week holiday and we couldn’t have picked a better place - chilled and comfortable, friendly and helpful staff and amazing breakfast - it was perfect to get over the jet lag and get ready for our further travels. Thank you very much for looking so well after us.

Perfect oasis to relax and recharge

The staff were amazing from arrival. Greeted with cool drink and refresher towel, check in was smooth and fast. Taken to room by staff who carried luggage for me, was a real 5 star experience. Totally unexpected for such a reasonably priced room.
