A Tired Hotel

the staff were friendly, but..

The property and furniture were very dated, and the air conditioning failed twice and was extremely noisy. We ended up checking out two days early due to poor sleep quality and safety. Towels and bed sheets were visibly worn, with multiple stitches, giving an unclean impression. There’s no elevator, and no staff helped with our luggage to the fourth floor. We also didn’t feel entirely safe during our stay for certain reasons. Evidence of this is available, but I prefer not to elaborate or follow up. The nearby beach isn’t ideal for swimming due to rocks, but Coconut Beach is a better option by taxi.

Nice big room with blackout curtains. Really quiet. 2 bottles of water/day. Really friendly staff. Good location, a lot of restaurants, ATM, fruit stands around. The beach is at 15 min walk.

On the 4th floor the internet was a bit sketchy.

Everything is better than I expected! Staff was really nice, they would love to help you with everything. I was stay there alone and feel super safe :) Macdonald and 7-11 just opposite the hotel. Strong Wifi. Worth the money

Rooms were clean and staff were nice. The place is quiet and conveniently located. 7-elevens, restaurants and shops nearby. the beach is about 15mins walk away. Great value.

The shower wasn’t hot half of the time, but Thailand’s hot weather makes it tolerable.

Perfect place to stay in Khao Lak

Rakkawan Residence is the perfect place to stay in Khao Lak! It is clean, quiet and comfortable, and the staff is helpful and friendly. I'm so glad I stayed here compared to any beach resort! Excellent location to access many beaches, restaurants and shops in walking distance or by motorbike (which you can rent directly from them). I actually extended my stay because it was so enjoyable. Also nearby many dive centers, which was helpful as I was doing my open water course. The drop off service was smooth and comfortable, and worth the price. I would stay here again whenever I come back to Khao Lak!

Nothing I didn't like. One thing to keep in mind is there is jo elevator, so request a room on the first floor if you need it.

I stayed in the room on top floor, last one. It was very nice and quiet. The room was clean and location convenient. Came back after my diving trip.

The breakfast wasn’t my taste, but there’s other options available nearby. It’s not luxury, but definitely good value.

Familiar environment, really nice accommodation

I spent 3 nights at the Rakkawan hotel and I found a familiar environment. The staff is extremely kind, very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is really close to the main road with restaurants and shops, but also to the beach. Every morning they provide a buffet breakfast, with a wide range of choices. I definitely recommend it .

Tout était parfait : emplacement au cœur de la ville mais extrêmement calme car un peu reculé dans une impasse, équipement parfait dans les chambres et salle de bain, jolie vue des chambres, petit déjeuner très bien, personnel extrêmement agréable et accueillant et arrangeant. Un sans faute!!
