Khao Lak, 3 night stay.

Room size and set out was good. Location close to all main shops and restaurants. Breakfast offerings were good.

Floor in room needed replacing, boards moved and raised with lots of gaps and holes. Dangerous to walk barefoot. Pool side bar expensive and food just ok, Greek salad had no leaves at all and only the tiniest amount of feta cheese.

The location is close to the Main Street but far enough away that’s it’s very quaint and quiet. Has a very tropical jungle feel with lots of greenery, would 100% stay here again!

We would DEFINITELY stay here again! I can’t really fault it and our group all really enjoyed their stay at the Leaf.

Beautiful clean rooms and ours overlooked one of the stunning pools. We requested ground floor and they accommodated us which was very considerate with my mobility issues. The grounds were immaculate and easy to get around. The daily room clean was thorough and they left water out for you on the days you didn't want a clean. The breakfast was the best I've had in Thailand and the Italian restaurant was life changing as it was the best pasta l've ever tried!! The reception ladies, restaurant staff and cleaning staff were super friendly and made our stay as a group so much better than we thought it would be. When we return to Khao Lak, we will DEFINITELY stay with the Leaf on the Sands again! 5 ***** ❤️🇹🇭🙏

The only fault. The staff at the swim up bar were a bit slow to action and there seemed to be no specific time for when they opened. One morning people were sitting there from 10am and then gave up after 30 mins as no staff even though they had opened at 10am the previous day. I imagine a few may comment on this in their reviews.

Had to ask for replacement room after 2 attempts to fix air con upon arrival . To my mind, this should have been done once aircon fault was first discovered. To give them their due, once I demanded new room, they acted upon it.

Fantastic location

Location, close to shops, restaurants, bars and services, it could not be anymore central, but still far away from road noise. Staff are absolutely fantastic and always there to assist with any questions. We enjoyed so much we stayed another 10 nights, loved our time here, very relaxing.

Beautiful and exotic place

We've been to this resort probably five times already. We always choose these villas. We love them, they are so exotic. Everything was nice - the room, the staff, the breakfast. We wish our stay was longer.

Once only Short stay.

Proximity to restaurants on the main road. Friendly staff.

Occasional Bad smell in our toilet room. Not constant but enough to put us off. If we’d been staying longer than 3 days, I would’ve asked for a different room. Bed was also rock hard but the staff put a topper on the mattress which helped immensely. Our neighbours spent most of their day on their patio chain smoking which made it impossible for us to use ours.

Low key no fuss holiday

Breakfast good but did not restock once gone room was not cleaned well toilet and shower smelt bad never enough towels left 2 in morning and then came back and would take 1 by the time I came back very frustrating in end moved to new room

Location was great for shops & restaurants, massage, tour guides & ATM/money exchange places. All the staff were amazing & very helpful. Comfortable sun loungers & gardens were immaculate and the food was good with plenty of choice

Relaxing stay in a good location.

As a family we loved the size of the hotel, it was small so didn't feel too busy. The staff were very helpful and attentive during our stay. The pools were lovely, we had read reviews stating older guests didn't appreciate children making noise around the pool(s) but we didn't experience this. Very good value for money in a great location.

The only negative would be the hotel could do with a tidy up, the grounds were kept clean and well maintained, however, for example, the cleaning trolley for the rooms was left in the corridor each day/evening, and old towels were being used to cover wires which run across hallways and passageways. Very minor negative and didn't take away from the positives.

The service, the staff is excellent, they help you with everything you need. The hotel is in good condition, it has all the facilities to relax and have a good stay.

The quality of breakfast could be improved. The location is good but if you want to go to the beach it is not the best. A lot of light comes in the morning from the bathroom because it is made of glass and sometimes we woke up very early.

Sorry to say this was a disappointing stay. Our room was not ready for check in time. The room was dirty, many mosquitos in the room, air con did not work, very small selection for breakfast, and my children were asleep as checkout time and they rushed us out

I understand that this may not be easily amended and the fact that we are talking Thailand. Before you judge my next comment. The pools tend to be as warm as the air temperature. The lower pools has had a revamp to a lighter coloured tile since last visit however I would suggest a shade sail be placed over the northern end of the pool may help cool the water a little.
